For Hand Rolled Ice Cream
I bought a 10KG block of ice for my niece to make (Thai) hand rolled ice cream with her birthday present. It worked marvelously, and where usually the mix is frozen in a home freezer (so only one at a time), she was able to make all she wanted (6 or 7 at a time), and the block of ice lasted for 3 days. It made for a fantastic birthday present, that lasted all weekend. I got great advice on the phone from the team, with next morning delivery.

I ordered some dry Ice for next day delivery during Covid19 crisis and this was delivered by someone dropping this off at my door in their private car. I thought this was a little odd until several days later I received yet another box labeled dry ice via DPD, since this had spent the weekend in some warehouse the box was empty of course.
I assume what has happened here is that the Currier notified Polarice that the shipment was delayed and they personally dropped a new package at my door.
What an amazing display of how customer service is done right. 5 stars with a little extra on top.
