Appalling Service, would never return !!

Booked a room through booking.com on 29/04/26 to arrive for 1 night on 23/05/26 for my partners birthday.
Arrived at the hotel to be told our room had been cancelled then rebooked for 30/05/26 and no room available for that evening. We left at 18.50pm with a 3.5hr journey home and £70 out of pocket due to fuel expenses.
No Accommodation locally due the bank holiday weekend. My deposit couldn’t be returned even though I tried 3 separate cards with their card machine, I had to be refunded in cash.
It was like dealing with dumb and dumber with their staff, who just repeated “I don’t know what to do”
One of the worst experiences I have had to deal with, thank you Dunsley Hall for destroying my partners birthday treat.

As a wedding photographer

As a wedding photographer, I have had the privilege of capturing countless memorable moments at Dunsley Hall. This venue is tucked away in the picturesque North Yorkshire coast, just a short drive from the town of Whitby and accessible via the main A171 road. For those who prefer to arrive by train, Whitby railway station is just a stone's throw away, making it convenient for guests to get to and from the venue.
Exclusive private hire of Dunsley Hall transforms it into your own private house for 24 hours, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life to celebrate with your loved ones. The venue is set in 4 acres of breathtaking private grounds, providing a breathtaking backdrop for your special day.
The serene surroundings and private setting of Dunsley Hall provide a tranquil atmosphere that makes it a popular choice for weddings and other special events. I have been continually impressed by the level of care and attention given to each and every event, ensuring a truly unforgettable experience for everyone involved. Whether you are looking to exchange vows in a traditional ceremony or host an intimate reception with close friends and family, this venue is sure to make your day truly special.
Kindest regards
The Kensington Photographer
