Poorly designed / made. Amateurish sales / finance team.

Mine broke the first time I tried to clip it to a pad. Contacted the company for advice / support but was told I must have been too rough with it and that it was my fault not theirs. To add insult to injury I was then hounded by the sales team for payment of the product even though I had paid for it at the trade show I bought it from and despite the fact that I sent them copies of the receipt they gave me and also copies of my credit card statement showing payment to them they continued to contact me for payment. Thankfully after a verbose email response they ceased contacting me.
This is probably a good product but unfortunately it's an awful company and that let's them down terribly.
As you can guess I'm not one of their happier customers!

Hi Jason

Let me first say I am sorry you have had a bad experience with us.

I am glad to hear however that you like the product...I cannot find any record of your support contact about your broken clip. Did we manage to fix it? If not, please email info@e-pens.com and I'm sure we can sort that for you now.

I would like to apologise if you thought we were harassing you for payment, we weren't...it was really to help our accountant, trade shows can sometimes be busy times and keeping track of everything is difficult! For transparency, I have copied our email communication on the subject below (I have removed contact details).

Genuine, reliable customer service

I bought an electronic pen from e-pens ltd some time ago and I have to admit I had some trouble with it. But the service I received from the company was superb. They asked me to send back the faulty part but I misunderstood and only sent part of it back. They then explained in more detail, what was needed and very quickly the entire unit was replaced. All emails were friendly and courteous and service was very speedy. I incurred not a penny of cost.

The replacement has been very satisfactory and there have been no further problems. I think I was just unlucky and would have no hesitation in buying from them again.

The e-pen is fantastic. I can take notes anywhere and upload them to my computer when I get home. It copes with anything commited to paper - not just writing but diagrams too. In effect it "memorises" something like a photocopy of the page you write on. And as long as handwriting is fairly legible, it can even convert it to digital text. I should imagine that for university students this pen would be invaluable.

In my opinion e-pens are a most trustworthy company who genuinely want to provide their customers with high quality goods and a good shopping experience.

I find the e-pen revolutionary

The e-pens mobile notes has been a life changer. I previously spend a great deal of time retyping meeting notes. Now I use this device and everything I write is stored as handwriting and converted to text (which makes it searchable for future reference). Would recommend the e-pen in an instant!
