Very poor from a global company

Don't bother asking for help its script with no positive outcome. They just take your money. I got sick of waiting for a response on their email service (they work on USA time) and the chat services are a joke! I called their help line and got charged £2.70 for a few minutes (this was not mentioned when I called) Still no positive outcome. Surly they have legal obligations but nothing gets done as it will cost too much to actually take them to court!!!!

If you contact EA for support my experience is that all you will get in response is a generic reply that appears to be sent just to get the issue off the handlers desk.
The ‘help’ suggested with be irrelevant and unhelpful.
It doesn’t matter how often you go back it appears the real issue is just ignored.
Just appalling customer service.

Miss sold and poor customer service

Ive just gone onto the EA store to buy games within the 'up to 60% off sims 4 games'. After looking at the prices I decided to do the 'build your own bundle' as it was cheaper and I was getting more. The price was £60 something and had a 51% discount on it which brought the price down to £30.47 so I checked out. It stated it was £30.47 as I checked out then after it took my bank details and the payment had gone through it showed 'Purchase £44.47' so I checked my bank and they have took the £44.47 instead of the price it was advertised at and was at the checkout point for. I contacted origin to explain the issue to get a lady named Julie. Which came across very rude and would not do anything for this issue but blame myself and my brand new back for being 'faulty' according to this customer service advisor although it was advertised on my screen for £30.47 I needed to pay £44.97 due to me not clearing my Mac cache and my Mac being 'faulty'. Completely refusing to accept the fact I had been miss sold due to being under the impression and stated on checkout my order was £30.47 which is what I gave them permission to take. I did not give permission for £44.97 to be taken from my account. The only thing I got was 'I can remove the games and refund you the money but the sale is over' leaving me in the same situation as before I decided to order them! I requested to escalate this and the agent left the chat I then got another agent who advised 'the issue is resolved' which it was 100% is not!

much better than before.

honestly , i used to agree with people that EA support was very poor, but with my recent experience (feb 2018) they have been making an effort to rectify it. had problems getting into my account, they phoned me instantly, got me through security and helped me regain access.

also the livechat staff were friendly and helpful when i had issues purchasing Battlefield 1 expansion

Dont buy anything from ea...

So i bought Ghost recon the 11-03-17 havent gotten it yet "13-03-17" ive been waiting 2 days, asked 3 poeple to cancel my order all they said was "sorry we cant do that" or atleast 2 of them could't i lost it went all out on the last guy at the end i was so mad but atleast i got him to cancel my order i am never spending any money at origin ever again.

My experience with EA support

I had a problem with my Battlefield Bad Company 2 SpecAct kit. I asked support for help, and just 15 mins after the support request, "Ian" replied, and asked for proof that I had the game. I then got a pic of my steam game list and the keys needed, and he immediately manually activated the SpecAct kit for my account.

One more note. This happened during 00.10 and 00.30 in the middle of the night, where you wont expect answer before the next day.

Must be the best customer service I've ever used. Big thumbs up for that. Thank you very much!

No more 1 year limit!

I used the store about 5 times now without any problems!
When I bought Battlefield 2142 and there were some problems w/ the order...BUT support team responded very quickly and with competent support they solved the problem!

Origin is nice and working good.

EDIT:
With 1 year download limit gone my objections are gone!
