Worst car hire company I have ever used. I can say nothing that was good. Had to put down €2900 deposit as I refused to pay €186 for their insurance for 3 days hire. I had already purchased extra insurance and they tried to suggest that it wouldn’t cover the car, even though I showed them that it covered everything they were trying to sell me. Car was dirty. When I asked if it had full fuel and return with full fuel, they said yes. That was a lie. It had just over a quarter of fuel in it. I distrusted this company so much that I took a video of all the marks and dents on the car while in their car park. When I returned it they said I would have to pay €150 as I must have had a dog in the car, which I did not. I said to the man working that I expected some attempt to scam me. I took video of the car both external and internal and told him that I had done so. He said management would decide. Wish I had read reviews before I booked with them. I have waited to write this review until I knew if they were going to take €150, which they have not.

Firstly on arrival had to wait a significant time for a gentleman to collect me - it was raining , I was with my family and baby there were 3 other people waiting for the same company. When the man finally came he was unpleasant. He had one car and so could not fit us all in, I had to leave my family in the airport and then come back and collect them. On arrival to the rental office, it was a run down building that felt very secluded and smelt of terrible damp. Had I been on my own as a female I would have felt very unsafe and uncomfortable, i felt very bad leaving the last lady behind on her own. The man working was in his own and he took a very long time to sort out the car . I waited 1 hour 30 minutes. I felt like I was scammed into paying for extra insurance, it clearly stated on my booking information I was covered but he said I should not use brokers or comparison sites and book directly with them as he could not guarantee the validity of the cover I had brought or sine jargon. At this point I just wanted to go so ended up paying. The car itself was fine very very very basic not overly clean was quite worn looking but did the job. When dropping the car off I was so uncomfortable being up in this building on my own I had my uncle follow me to be safe. I always get a car when in cork airport and would never use them again, they may seem like they have good deals but it’s better to use one of the more well known companies.

I was issued a dirty car that was not cleaned had rubbish within it smelt of cogarettes and was I charged after returning it without notice or proof.

DO NOT use this car rental service. They have fabricated damage to a car hired by my family member & charged them for it without any notification. They have ignored all correspondence to discuss the matter. We are now having to seek legal advice.

Booked through CarJet and ended up with this absolute disaster of a rental company. If you’re expecting a smooth, professional experience - I wouldn’t book here
First problem: When we arrive and… no one’s there. Door locked, a few other confused customers waiting outside. Turns out one guy is trying to do everything — opening the office, handling paperwork, driving customers to the airport. We lost a chunk of our time just waiting around for him to show up.

When he finally got to us, I had already paid for insurance through CarJet. But when we got there, surprise — they told us it wasn’t valid and made us pay AGAIN. Total scam move. Why bother offering insurance through your platform if the rental company won’t honor it?

It only got worse. Partway through our trip, the tyre popped. We called the breakdown service listed in the car, and they told us they could collect it but would need to keep it overnight since it was quite late but the rental company refused to allow it — probably because they didn’t want to deal with the payment or paperwork.
Instead, they made us wait THREE HOURS for someone to come get us. We didn’t leave until 11 PM.
They promised us a full refund for the inconvenience. Even asked us to send the invoice over WhatsApp and drop the copy in their mailbox office so they could see how much to reimburse. We sent it and got zero reply. Weeks later, when we finally got hold of someone, they said we’d only be getting €100 of the €250 we paid. When we reminded them of the full refund promise, they said, “Doesn’t matter what we said.”
Here’s the thing: the tire issue wasn’t our fault. The warning light came on just five minutes before the blowout. There was no time to fix it. And more importantly, it’s their job to do basic safety checks before handing over the car. A tire doesn’t just fail for no reason. If it was underinflated when we got it — and it probably was — that’s on them.
They dragged the refund process out with “wait 14 days,” then “wait 28 days,” and when we finally reached the 28th day? Still no refund. And then we get told they “don’t reimburse for call-out fees,” despite promising they would.
Bottom line: this company is disorganised, dishonest, and not worth your time or money. If they can't provide roadworthy cars or keep their own word, they shouldn’t be in business. Save yourself the stress and go literally anywhere else.

What a disastrous company. Booked through Carjet, which we usually do. We had to phone to be collected as the office was not at Cork Airport. A guy called Bobby picked us up. Never spoke, just opened the boot for our bags. When we arrived at the so called office, which was up a dirt track, all he said was, "follow me". We entered the office which was full of warning signs plastered to the walls advising of the various fines, when returning the car. He took my details and took €2900 from my credit card as we have annual insurance . He then said wait out front and he would bring the car around. When he arrived with a Dacia, (we booked a Ford Focus), it had several scratches which we pointed out. One in particular on the passenger door. He tried to convince us it was a tar mark and not a scratch. He refused to note it in his pad. I told him that since pick up, the customer service was shocking, and then he refused to rent us the car. I asked him to refund the €2900 already taken from my credit card, but he said he couldn't. He told me it would be refunded in 24 hours. That was on Thursday 15th May. It is now Monday 19th May and no sign of my refund.
Avoid this company at all costs.
Sub standard cars, arrogant staff, grotty offices and zero customer care.

Never use them again - 1 man band at cork airport he had to main the phones pick up people from the airport we didn’t have a clue where we were going to from the airport. When the 1 man picked us up which was him again and then we were waiting to go through all of the details about picking the car up - I think it cost us about an hour and a half. Then we had to cough up more money for more car insurance- what a rip off
Employ people who have customer experience in talking to people this guy couldn’t have been more useless in customer communication. And my car booking was with CARJET who are ?????

I very rarely leave feedback, but had such an awful experience with this company that I will. It took ages to be collected from the airport, when we got to the office there were three customers there, all of whom had problems. One family were having to find £3,500.00 deposit, another chap wanted confirmation that the car he returned was undamaged, they refused to provide it and a third were leaving and very unhappy and angry.

My driving licence was not enough for them. They insisted on having a n additional number from DVLA and my NI number for some reason?! I had to leave nearly £3,000.00 deposit - probably more than the car was worth! It took me over 2 hours from landing to drive away. The car I was given was filthy and for the whole rental I was anticipating a problem when I returned the car.

Upon return, no confirmation that the car was undamaged was provided and the staff were rude. A German family were being ripped, it appeared and there were others in the office, all having problems.

I rent fairly frequently and have never had such an experience. I will never use these people again and would strongly advise others not to use them either.

I visit my elderly mam every 4-5 weeks and I am a frequent user of easirent cork . I honestly can not fault victor and the easirent team. I literally phone the guys once I’m outside cork airport and make my way to their meeting point and within 5-10 minutes I’m picked up and taken to their office where my hire vehicle is waiting. A few minutes for paperwork and I’m on my way down home to mammy. These guys work so hard to ensure customer satisfaction even when they are busy there’s always a happy helpful staff member to make the whole experience run smoothly. Well done guys I will see you in a few weeks ❤️

We were left outside Cork Airport in the freezing fog for over 30 mins waiting to be picked up. We finally arrived at the office!!! Which is an utter disgrace - the waiting area provided is dirty, freezing cold and inappropriate. The service provided at the office desk was appalling, the man was almost shouting at us. We sorted out the cover debacle etc and were shown to our rental car. Before I got in to drive I checked as best I could for any damaged and noticed three cracks in the passenger wing mirror. I went in to report this - man shouted you are ok, you are fully covered. I followed up with I know I am fully covered, I just want you to know that I haven't put those cracks in the wing mirror. Highlight of the process was the car, it was a lovely drive considering and took us all over Southern Ireland.
I would not recommend working with this company, I am waiting with baited breath for some claim to come out of the woodwork or some bill for something that isn't covered. The car was filthy when we picked it up, hadn't been cleaned thoroughly inside either. When we have rented from other companies we have usually received a pack of useful docs to help in times of trouble - nothing! Nor did we get a helpful map of the country. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! DREADFUL!

The rental process was easy and the service was excellent.
Victor looked after the extension of the rent with great professionalism.

We were collected from Cork airport by Victor within 5 minutes of calling and taken back to the office. 10 minutes later we were driving off in our hire car. Very efficient and perfect service. Victor had everything ready for us and the car we were given was lovely. Many thanks Victor for making it all so quick and simple. We have used Easirent at least 10 times and wouldn't think of using any other hire company.

Easirent at Cork airport is truly 5 stars run extremely smoothly by Victor. He collected us within 5-10 minutes of me calling him, took us to the offices, completed the paperwork and we were on our way within 10 minutes. Absolutely great service at an excellent price. We have used Easirent probably 10 times in the past few years and have no complaints. Victor is such an asset and I hope Easirent appreciate him. He is a fabulous ambassador for the company.
