The experience was actually amazing

The experience was actually amazing. After reading several reviews, I was a bit nervous, but I decided to give it a try because of their consistently low prices. I’m glad I did—there were no issues, no hidden fees, and the entire staff, from check-in to check-out and even the shuttle driver, was professional and friendly. I’ll definitely continue using them at the Jacksonville location.

RENTERS RUN!

Absolutely NO WAY I will ever contact them again! I will walk first! I reserved a car AND was there before they closed at !0:00 pm.I immediately contacted them to be picked up. They never showed up. By the time I was able to get throught all of the phone prompts four different times of calling, they said. "Sorry, we closed at 10:00 pm." Stranded in Jacksonville after midnight with an hour ahead of me. Another rental car company gladly helped me PROMPTLY. WITH my last minute reservation. I know, no one will call me on this, so I dont expect it. I have contacted nearly every one of the companies that they subtract for. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!

Quite a challenging and frustrating experience with Easirent, where deceptive practices were evident. I had booked a large SUV ahead of time and paid for it, only to find that when I returned a week later, the vehicle was unavailable. Instead, I discovered that my reservation was actually for a sedan, and I was "upgraded" to an SUV, likely to allow the representative to earn a commission on the upgrade. His initial goes by “J” and conveniently not there at time of pick up.

While Barbara at the counter was genuinely helpful and embarrassed by the situation, it’s clear that the company doesn’t prioritize customer satisfaction. Judging by the numerous negative reviews, it's apparent that Easirent often responds with generic replies while showing
little concern for the issues raised by customers. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to take the only SUV available, which was in terrible condition—reeking of smoke, almost empty on gas, with a low tire that needed inflating, and extraordinarily filthy. The only silver lining was Barbara, who truly goes above and beyond to assist customers.

RUN RED FLAGS EVERYWHERE

Gabriel from the start was a real gem . No customer service. Ripped me off! Gives me a car with no gas in it. I stop get gas…in dirty car. Hour later we are stranded along the road.Call the office they don’t care. I had to call roadside assistance. I have to call a new rental company. ENTERPRISE FOR THE WIN! They came got my family gave us a nice rental filled with gas. THIS COMPANY STILL OWES ME MONEY. I call them daily just to say hi! DO NOT RENT FROM THEIR CHARLOTTE AIRPORT LOCATION!!! What a nightmare. They left us stranded and stole my money!!

Worst rental experience I’ve ever had

Worst rental experience I’ve ever had. I paid for a standard SUV and was given a compact with no adjustment. The car later had engine failure and left me stranded out of state. Easirent provided no support and told me to “keep driving it.”

Avoid this company at all costs.

I waited to write this review until I knew I was not overreacting. To start out with we had to stand in line for 40 minutes. Then the vehicle had a warning on the dash for an under inflated front tire. The service rep told me to drive it around the back and air it up myself. It was at 14 psi. The next morning it had leaked down to 22psi. We took the vehicle back for a different one. The next vehicle they gave us had a very strong odor of cigarettes. We went ahead and took it after standing in line for over 1 hour. The rep was extremely rude. As he walked us out on the lot he told me he just either would walk away from the counter. That if someone made him mad he would slow down even more. Maybe this is just a problem at their Jacksonville, FL airport location.
I will never rent from them again. It is a very shabby business and is run extremely bad. The only bright spot was that the other gentleman at the counter was friendly.
My advice; spend your money on a different car rental company.

NEVER AGAIN!!

NEVER AGAIN!!! We rented In Jacksonville, Fl. DONT waste your money. Took an hr & a half to check in, car was junk & dirty, staff (rude) at pick up & drop off, place was shady. All & all I would not give them even a one score.

Worst car rental company I've ever…

Worst car rental company I've ever rented from. I rented the car through RentCars. I paid for full coverage insurance and unlimited miles, and when I arrived to pick up the car, they made me pay for another insurance policy and pay for the unlimited miles again. The car was full dirty. Bad people right there. Do not rent with this company. You will regret it. I should have checked the reviews before renting.

Please Stay Away

Good luck getting a refund from. I tried canceling more than 3 hours out and they refused to refund it. My car rental time as noon and I was unable to cancel online. I called them at 7:02 to cancel and the person on the phone couldn’t process the request so they sent an email to the district manager. I called again 8:56. No response to the email. Now they are saying they can only give me store credit. Disputing with my credit card company now.

Waited too long for shuttle

Waited too long for shuttle. Only one person behind desk taking care of people and they took forever. You must have your automobile insurance ID card with you and you must pay a large deposit. It’s rediculous

Never Again

Last minute booking and chose Easirent based on their price. To start, the business itself was messy and located at a rundown hotel. After telling them I’m traveling out of state for one day the service representative told me a $25 a day fee will be added to each day of my contract but he’s going to cut me a deal at $15 a day. My $260 rental turned into a $400 one. Never Again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Please read in entirety: AVOID THIS PLACE! Office was off airport (Jacksonville, FL) and the space was terrible. Very unprofessional. Very dark and dirty. Fluorescent bulb flickering like a horror movie set. One person working the front counter doing everything and that was condescending to an elderly couple waiting in line to be waited on while two females were at the counter. He demanded them to back up and give the two ladies room. They were appropriately spaced from them. He then coldly told everyone in line to scan a QR code off of a poster and begin to fill out information (that's his job) to register ourselves for our rentals. The elderly couple did not know how to do it and offered me to go ahead of them as they struggled without assistance. Every person that came to the counter was told their insurance wouldn't cover a flat tire or broken glass and if they encountered a flat the vehicle would have to be towed back to their lot OR they could pay an extra $15/day to avoid this hassle. Then requested the elderly couple to purchase insurance from them. It was finally my turn to get to the counter and I had everything in order. Pre-paid reservation from Priceline, my current DL and insurance card in hand. I paid for a midsize car. We were FINALLY walked out on the lot to pick up our Altima and the clerk tried to give us a Sentra. We pointed out this car was not an Altima but a Sentra. He became argumentative until he saw the floormats stitched SENTRA and the trunk lid prominently stating SENTRA. He then blamed another person for writing Altima on the paper he had. He went inside and came back out with another set of keys to an Altima. The Altima he was giving us to drive had heavy damage to the front where it was plainly wrecked. The grill was busted out, the front valance was split, heavy scratches on the hood and front bumper, scratches on the top of the car, the sides, and the back. The back bumper cover was cracked and paint scratched off as well. Not one panel on the vehicle was damage free. We opened the door to find heavy soiling in the seats, sticky substance all over the console and dash and other debris in the A/C vents. It was so bad, I walked around the car and filmed its condition for proof of existing damage when it would be returned. As I was getting in the car, a piece of paper was presented to me to sign stating I agreed with the damage shown. I did not and hand wrote on the paper the car had been wrecked. He stated he didn't care that I made the notation. I got in the vehicle to leave and the entire dash lit up with collision warning lighting. I immediately stopped and got out of the vehicle before ever leaving the parking lot. This vehicle was in no condition to be rented and could have resulted in injury or death had I continued to operate it in such condition. The clerk reiterated it was safe to drive despite the obvious damage and warning lights on in the dash. I asked for a full refund and to be transported back to the airport. I will NEVER use this company again. I was well past angry dealing with this company. What they are doing could lead to civil litigation renting known wrecked vehicles to customers that could have untold mechanical issues. I HAVE VIDEO PROOF OF WHAT I AM REPORTING. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. PRICELINE WOULD BE WISE TO GET THEM OFF THEIR WEBSITE AS AN OPTION.

First and last rental

I haven't finished my rental bit had an issue with a defective tire. I had to purchase the tire so I can get back to the airport. I sent an email and no reply. Then I was rudely told that they 14 days to look at an email in 2025. I found this company through Uber. NEVER AGAIN!

Let me start by starting I only put 1 star but shoukd be a 0. This company rented my family a car with bald tires. With no option to rent a different car as we were a one way. We had no choice but to take the car as we traveled out of town for a doctors appointment for my 2 children that we would have missed. The car was also filthy dirty and smelted so bad. I was in disbelief that such a car was in the lot to even be rented. The costumer service is a long drawn out process and no help at all. I don't recommend renting from this company. I wish there was a spot to post photos.

Horrible customer service Julian is the worst employee I have ever encountered! He not only cussed me out and threatened to physically harm me but also grabbed the keys to the only vehicle the company had on ground to rent out of brian's hand to try to rent someone else. 100% would never recommend this company to anyone horrible horrible horrible service.

When I got there they didn’t have my SUV so they gave me a car .. fine same price okay
The car was actually nice and new 2025 Corolla .
When I got there the big guy was amazing seriously ! Apologized for the mixup .

We went round and round about car insurance . So he charged me $116 and told me to bring back the insurance information the next morning .. which I did.. stated a refund of 93.20 will be returned back.
The shuttle driver that picked me up creepy as hell . I was a solo flyer and didn’t help me with my suitcases !

Easy JUST TAKE A VIDEO OF THE CAR NOT PICTURES !!! Trust me
So as I left I made sure I was going to get this refund and assured me I would 7-10 days ..
Now I called the customer service number .. my 10yr old grandson has better manners . I was told to hang on then disconnected
Called right back .. hung up on called back the 4th immediately after each other to get a female who was trying together lie out her ass but okay I’ll play ! She told me that the system isn’t working and I have to call back tomorrow between 10-4 pm BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING SHOWING ANYTHING OF A REFUND DUE !!!!!!!
They are about to FAAFO!!!!!
I have zero problems getting them shut down .
I’m already talking with Kayak, Expedia, Booking.com, Priceline and a few more !!! They are NOT BBB rated !!
