The removal of ALL of the glass recycling bins means that we’re now reliant on their poor and intermittent doorstep collection. I handed a clean, dry cardboard box of bottles to one operative this morning only to find it discarded on the pavement outside my house this morning. On top of this, they don’t prosecute fly-tippers as a rule and so the costs will continue to soar!
