Extremely Disappointed

I am extremely disappointed, hurt, and honestly traumatized by the experience I had with this company and their driver. This situation has caused me an enormous amount of stress and frustration, and the way it has been handled has made the entire situation even more upsetting.
Their driver ran a stop sign and crashed into my car, causing damage and putting my safety at risk. This was a frightening and serious incident that never should have happened. At the scene, a representative from the company arrived and apologized, which led me to believe the situation would be handled responsibly and fairly.
Unfortunately, that is not what happened.
After the accident, the company did not respond to insurance for a month. During that time I was left with a damaged vehicle, no clear answers, and no support while trying to resolve an accident that their driver caused. Being ignored during such a stressful situation was incredibly frustrating and emotionally exhausting.
What made the situation even more upsetting was that after this long period of no communication, I was later told that the accident was being blamed on me. This was extremely shocking and distressing to hear, especially considering that a representative from the company had apologized at the scene when the accident occurred. The sudden shift in responsibility left me feeling confused, unsupported, and deeply disappointed in how the situation was handled.
As someone directly affected by this incident, I expected honesty, accountability, and basic empathy. Instead, I was left dealing with the stress, damage to my vehicle, and the burden of repairs largely on my own. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and has caused a lot of unnecessary emotional distress.
Because of this experience, I have completely lost trust in this company and their handling of situations like this. I cannot in good conscience recommend them to others. I truly hope no one else has to go through the kind of stress and frustration that I experienced while trying to resolve an accident that was not my fault.

I dont like giving Bad reviews but.. when people's health is at risk I will!
Ii had an episode/trigger (with bronchial) after their chemicals were sprayed. If only they could post warnings for people w asthma, or any other lung condition. Their ignorance/ incompetence on this matter is unacceptable. Human lives are at serious health risk. Stating that the chemicals are "harmless" is a LIE! And after a hospital visit. Follow up. Lab work etc. They still dont want to give the info I need. The delays are throwing up Red Flags like crazy. If only they could just take responsibility. Save your s & others health-- dont bother with Eastside Exterminators they suck sh!t

Bad sales and services

The sales agent is misleading and introduced services I don't need. and they blamed customers for not paying attention. First, they said no charges on first visit, and then they send another technician doing different work (without communication) on first visit and charges me $219. and they argued they did the work (even this is not the service I needed). They threatened they will put you on billings collection if you don't pay the service (why should I pay the service I don't want).
Very baaaaaaad customer communication. I would rate zero if system allows.

I had such a wretched experience with…

I had such a wretched experience with Eastside Exterminators that I now post my first negative review of a company. I found Eastside Exterminators incompetent, deceitful, arrogant, and insanely expensive.
I had an infestation of moth flies that were laying larvae in a rug. I called Eastside. They said they would complete a full extermination for $420. If I had any problems after their first visit, they would return and fix the problem at no charge.
I made an appointment and prepaid them in full. When the exterminator arrived, he sprayed the carpet and floorboards, set up a few traps and left after 45 minutes.
The Moth Flies did not leave. I decided to do some research on the internet. I quickly learned that these flies were also named Drain Flies because they bred in drains.
I inspected my drains and found two seldom used ones had become Moth Fly reproductive centers.
Though his hourly charge exceeded that of a Wall Street lawyer, the supposed expert exterminator from Eastside never said a word about drains and Drain Flies
I called Eastside today to speak to the manager. The manager replied that my $420 paid only for the flies in the rug. Drains, being a different category of service, were not included. Therefore, they would not return to fix my problem, nor would they offer a me a rebate.
Clearly, they early do not want my business. You might regret giving them your business.

Horrible company, horrible service

Absolutely horrible company and horrendous customer service. We used this company for over 4 years for general pest control, both inside and outside of our home. During our last visit, the person said that they had sprayed multiple wasp nests developing under the eaves of our house. When we continued to see wasps in those nests, we called to confirm that they had actually been sprayed. It took them 3 weeks to return our phone calls requesting to have someone come back out to actually spray those nests. During that time, we canceled our service, since we were effectively paying them for not doing their job. Once a manager did finally call us back, they informed us that because we canceled our service, it "negated our warranty", and they would have to charge us to come back out. Absolutely ridiculous. Between that, not actually inspecting our attic (beyond the 10 feet they could see from the entrance), and poisoning our dog because they dropped a rat poison block in our yard, we're happy to be rid of this company for good!

Overworked, overpriced, unprofessional

Company did an initial inspection and claimed there were no major issues, no entry points. For the next 18 months they charged me $152 every two months to send out someone to refill bait stations outside the house. From time to time they would suggest cutting back foliage. A few times they could not access the yard because they didnt call ahead but attempted But basically I paid them $152 for 15 minutes of work every 2 months refilling bait stations. When rodents were discovered leaving the garage they agreed to come look at the crawlspace. They apparently tried once during a regular visit but didn't call ahead so nobody was home to let them in. They didn't follow through. A few months later a dead rat fell through the bathroom ceiling into the sink. I fired them after that. My complaint is that they are the experts, and for $150/month they should have been doing more than mindlessly refilling traps outside the house. I could have paid a kid to do that. They were supposed to be protecting the house from rodent infestations and should have been proactive, responsive and vigilant. Rats don't fall through the ceiling of a house with no concerns bait stations can't address. Yet this is the package they sold me. At least following the first rodent incident that should have caused some change of course but they were too busy to follow through nor change course.

This is a company with HEART! <3

This is a company that really has heart. I received excellent customer service at every point of contact with Eastside Exterminators. The call center was patient with me as I tried to describe my "termite" problem in our Sammamish home. Their technician carefully and painstakingly investigated the problem and showed me that I actually have CARPENTER ANTS! **I'm so glad I called when I did, because we were able to catch the problem very early and prevent any permanent damage to my home. And I'm on a bimonthly protection plan now to keep the ants (and other bugs) away from my house. I really feel like my home is safer under their protection. I would highly recommend this company to all of my friends and family. And even my neighbors! Thanks, Eastside!

High prices for not so great work.

I get mixed information from front office staff regarding cost and frequency of crawl space inspection as part of the maintenance program. I requested a relatively slim person to come for this inspection as crawl space entrance is very small, and a not slim person was sent out. I was afraid this person would have cardiac arrest with the amount of perspiration and effort while crawling in and out of the space.

In general, prices charged for services are very high for the quality of work, communication, and follow through of projects. Initial inspector was not thorough, leaving me to complete the inspection myself and work through things in trial and error fashion.

Dead Rat

Dead Rat
A few years ago, we obviously had a rat crawl behind a wall and die. It was horrible and of course, it was in my office somewhere inside the walls. At the time, there was lots of construction causing a rat-fest in the area. I called several companies to try to get them to help us. One guy came out, cut a hole in the wall, said he could see the rat but couldn't reach it and then he left. I then had a co-worker's dog, Gypsy, come in and she found the rat by sniffing it out. I then called a few other companies, they came out and I told them where the rat was located based on Gypsy's intervention. Did they look in the place I told them? NO. They even cut holes in OTHER places in the wall. One evening while I was driving home, I saw a van that said "Got rats. Call Eastside Exterminators". So I did. Eastside Exterminators came out. I told them the story. The guy cut a hole in the wall exactly where I told him to and within the hour, he found the dead rat. And they gave me the name of a guy who could fix the hole in the wall. Now they said they don't cut holes in walls but they will if you agree to take responsibility for it which I did. They've been servicing our building since then and have done a terrific job. They're great and I would advise not calling anyone else. These guys know what they're doing. Better than the big corporate exterminators.

Eastside Extermination was very easy to work with

The whole process with Eastside was very easy and painless. They walked me through the process on the initial phone call and each time their staff came to my house, they were clean, well spoken and cleaned up after the service each time.

After the inspection, they sent me a copy of all the pictures, determined that I had to have a roof repair company out to check a few things.

Pictures tell the story without a lot of explanation needed.

They continue to service my house and have been doing a very good job.
