Ecarz provided the best price and Locauto in Verona, run by the redoubtable Berta, were excellent. She supplied a new VW Touran. When I had a question about the rental, Ecarz' customer service line was very helpful.

Excellent, easy and cheap.

Ecarz and the car hire itself was excellent value for money and we had an almost new car. Downside was that a small stone chip cost me over £300! Luckily I had bought separate excess insurance, but I guess that if the price is very low then it's where the car hire companies make their money.
Advice - read the small print of the individual suppliers and get excess insurance yourself (about £12-16 per week if booked in advance via a comparison site and not with the car hire company itself)

Quick and reliable. Hired an excellent car from Europcar. Extremely courteous and helpful staff, who brought the car from the lot so that we did not need to drag our heavy bags. Will definitely use again.

Nice service and Nice New car

The option of on airport or shuttle to an off site company was not very clear through the booking process, some of it as misleading... it was not until receipt of the booking voucher that it was noticed I had booked a car that would require a shuttle to collect, this as not o.k with me & I had to rebook.

Easy access, informative and no fuss

Great car and personable staff only drawback is the deposit seems to have been blocked and to date my credit card has been declined elsewhere although i have signed doc to say car was returned ok.This blocking is different to taking a print of details and then giving it back as has happened before .

We hired a car from Aberdeen. The pick up was really easy (within 5 mins) and the office was very close being located at the Crown Plaza hotel. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The car was a new Astra and was absolutely fine. It drove well and was very clean when picked up although not when dropped off. There is a petrol station just as you leave the hotel premises so filling up on return was also very convenient. Overall an excellent service and good value too.
