Wonderful!

In short, we are extremely pleased with our new kitchen.
We initially liaised with Mark who really listened to what our needs were and drew up plans accordingly. There was never any pressure to sign up. He showed us the plans and then left us to decide in our own time. Nothing was too much trouble.
The fitters under the direction of Chris were brilliant. Chris is obviously a skilled and experienced fitter. He had a solution to every problem that arose and didn’t rest until the best solution had been found.
We had our kitchen fitted at a time when there were supply issues all over Europe. The original hob and ovens we chose weren’t available but Mark sourced us alternatives which were just as good. He also made sure we had the extra shelves and drawers we asked for as he knew storage was a big issue for us.
The electrician, plasterer, painter, tiler all did a good job too. Each team made sure they cleaned up after themselves and kept the mess to a minimum. The joiner let us down a couple of times but he was replaced with another one who did a great job of finishing all the little jobs left at the end.
The units themselves, all the fixtures and fittings are of good quality. The doors of the units are soft closing and we love the way the colour of the unit outside is also the colour inside.
We thought the installation of a new kitchen was going to be a highly stressful one with delays and problems but our experience was the opposite. The Eclipse team were respectful, hard-working, reliable and very efficient.
A few weeks after the kitchen was completed, we noticed a couple of things that needed rectifying. It wasn’t a problem. Ian came round and sorted them out for us.
Thanks to Debbie also who kept us informed of developments and acted upon any worries/queries we had.
We highly recommend Eclipse to anyone thinking of having a new kitchen fitted.

Mark was excellent

Mark was excellent, extremely patient whilst we consulted on the kitchen of our dreams. The attention to detail was amazing and the advice he gave was fully appreciated. Not once did he push his ideas on to us but imparted his experience to enable us to make the correct informed choice. We cannot wait to see the finished kitchen in a few weeks time.

Very satisfied customers

We contacted Eclipse in December to ask for a quote for a new kitchen and utility room following a visit to their showroom in Bryn. We were very impressed by the quality and variety of what was on offer. We wanted a supplier who could do the job from start to finish including any remedial building work, electrics and flooring. Eclipse were able to supply a complete one stop shop.
Mark in Sales visited our home to run through our wish list and took detailed measurements. After a few more visits to the showroom to choose doors, worktops and appliances etc Mark did the CAD drawings which allowed us to see what our kitchen would look like. We amended the design a couple of times until we were happy. Although it was coming to the end of the year there was no pressure to submit an order or agree on the final design. We were a little unsure of our choice of the quartz worktop against the units we had chosen, as the sample size of worktop in the showroom was quite small.
Mark arranged for us to visit the granite factory in Preston and we were lucky to see a finished piece of our chosen worktop polished and ready to be delivered to another customer. The kitchen installation was planned for the end of March and after submitting our order Debbie in customer services rang to run through the installation dates and phases.

The measure of a good company is if and when things go wrong and how quickly they rectify the problem. We had two issues both of which were resolved quickly and efficiently. Our original choice of oven was not available due to global NEFF shortages but Leanne rang to explain and offered an alternative NEFF oven which was actually an upgrade on our original choice at no additional cost to us. The second issue was when the granite company arrived to fit the sinks and worktops. As they unpacked the utility room sink they found a large crack running through it. Eclipse quickly contacted the supplier who said the product was now discontinued despite it still being advertised in their current brochure. Eclipse contacted every supplier to try and find the exact sink to no avail. They immediately offered me a choice of a new slightly bigger replacement sink which turned out to be a far better choice than my original one. This required a new quartz worktop to be cut to accommodate the new size sink which Eclipse arranged with no extra cost to us.

Everything else ran to plan and we are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen and utility room.
Special thanks to Leanne and Mark, Gary the surveyor, Phil and his fitting team especially Mike who had endless patience with my request for additional shelves and to Debbie in Customer Services.
Their friendly staff offer a brilliant service and create a real family atmosphere. We would happily recommend Eclipse to anyone.

We chose Eclipse after reading positive…

We chose Eclipse after reading positive online reviews on local kitchen companies, Phil (Sales) was brilliant he worked with our preliminary design and drew it all up on CAD which looked fantastic, we then chose doors, worktops, splashbacks, appliances and even though we tweaked a few of these it was no problem for Phil to incorporate the changes. Next stage was the onsite visit by the surveyors who checked our sizes to make sure what we wanted was possible. Due to ongoing Covid restrictions we had to wait for appliances to arrive, quartz worktops to be manufactured etc but eventually we had a call from Debbie with installation dates. On installation day two fitters arrived Darren and Callum extremely professional with an eye for detail who worked flawlessly over the next two weeks, next Ben from the granite company came along to measure for the Quartz worktops which took a week to manufacture, we had been informed of this time frame by Eclipse Kitchens. With anything you've got to work with an installation company to make sure you get the finished product you want and it was great that the Eclipse teams from Sales, Surveying, Electrical, Installation, Worktops company, all listen and worked with us to make our dream kitchen exactly what we wanted, even down to making a bespoke island on wheels that we could move around. We would have no hesitation in recommending Eclipse to anyone.

wish i never heard of this company…

wish i never heard of this company after spending £16000 on a new kitchen the nightmare started we had a salesman who drew up a lovely kitchen design which we agreed to then passed over to a surveyor who should have measured correctly but unfortunately got everything wrong upon starting the fitting the joiner pointed out to us they had had to replace the consumer unit which they had an electrician do but when he tried to fit the units because the consumer unit had been fitted wrongly the cupboard side landed were the unit had been placed so joiner had to cut out the side of the cupboard to accommodate it which meant that no shelves could be fitted as there was no side to fit to then it just got worse he then fitted the cupboard over the boiler to find it was not the right size and if he fitted it we would not be able to access the boiler controls so he had to remove the bottom of the cupboard to make it fit then it was time to fit the cooker hood which he noticed was slightly damaged so he ordered another one which came and was really damaged worse than the original so after speaking to the company who offered us a £100 discount to fit the first one we accepted then we were informed that the boiler cupboard door was not there and needed to be reordered then we were informed that the microwave was not available due to covid problems so after weeks of putting up with a tip we still had to wait for the job to finish now 12 months on the Franke boiler tap failed upon notifying this to the company they were not interested and told us to ring Franke as it is now our problem, customer service at its best so after heavy investment we have a patched up kitchen no boiling tap and hopefully we don't have anymore problems as now they've got paid they wash there hands of you. thanks for your reply but when you ask for advise on a problem you don't expect rudeness from staff check telephone messages when you have put your trust in a firm you expect respect and help not "its got nothing to do with us ring the manufacturer" the rudeness you say I did was just to point out that when you have a problem with an appliance CONSUMER law states that its the shop/retailer you contact not the manufacturer and the 26 point disclaimer that you asked me to sign you don't know how a botched job will turn out till a later date this could have been resolved with a bit of customer care perhaps your staff need slight education on how to manage customers without taking the huff when you don't like the truth

Hi Mr. Lyon, I am a little confused as stating that our surveyor got 'everything' wrong is quite a dramatic statement when in fact the measuring of the consumer unit and boiler unit was wrong but it was quickly rectified. Sometimes while on site, things need to be changed and modified which is standard. The end result is that it was sorted quickly and efficiently.
Before we ask for any completion balances you are required to sign and check off a 26 point check list that you personally sign and tick to say you are happy with the kitchen that you have had fitted if you WASNT happy with the kitchen supplied this should have been brought up at that point and we would have resolved if we could have.
In regards to the extractor, you was offered a deduction or a replacement, again you could have chose to wait for a replacement - in Covid times there has been a major problem with getting appliances in general and getting replacements could take months so you chose to have a reduction in your completion balance.

Mr. Lyon when you rang our customer services you was quite rude and abrupt with Debbie. Out fitting is warrantied for 12 months and once fitted any items that come with a manufacturers warranty belongs to the manufacturer your Franke boiling tap warranty belongs to Franke - they do not like to speak directly to us in regards to consumer issues, we advise that you (the end consumer) speak with them directly to get a quicker resolve. We can get involved and ring Franke ourselves as a gesture of good will to try and help but not when our staff are being verbally abused over the phone.

Fantastic Customer Service

Had our kitchen fitted by Eclipse November 2019. ('excellent' review posted). In June our Neff refrigerator simply failed - we spent two weeks without a fridge in really hot weather. Neff agreed to exchange the fridge without any quibble. Problem was they did not have any available in UK and it could be up to three weeks (Covid/ supply chain etc, etc) and a further 10 days to get it fitted, it also seemed that we were in an 'exchange queue' and would be prioritised accordingly. Got in touch with Eclipse to see if they could help. Debbie in customer services got on to the case. She quickly sourced a new fridge, liaised with Neff and arranged for Eclipse themselves to supply and fit it within a few days. We spent three weeks without a fridge over some of the hottest weather this year - it could have easily been three months if not for Debbie at Eclipse Customer Services. Excellent customer service from Eclipse who took the problem from Neff and sorted it quickly for us. Many, many thanks.

Albeit delays with product which was…

Albeit delays with product which was not the fault of Eclipse Kitchens I have to say the standard of after sales care,communication,professionalism,actual product fitment and job spec were second to none. 2nd time I've used this company and they are excellent. I have a beautiful eco friendly kitchen reducing the carbon footprint.
Thank-you to Mark,Steve,Phil,Debbie and Chris and Nathan for fitting the units and Cooker Appliances.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our new, stunning kitchen/diner. Full praise to the Eclipse team who made our dream kitchen come true. Special thanks to Barry and Phil. Barry with ‘ooddles’ of patience, expertise and easy manner brought our vision to life. No matter how many times we changed our mind on design, units, worktops, fittings etc, Barry was always understanding, gave lots of ideas and allowed us the time we needed to be fully confident in our choices. Phil our co-ordinator was fantastic. His lovely friendly, cheery and ‘not a problem’ manner ensured we were able to tweak a few things during the refurbishment to our satisfaction. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Any problems during the job was dealt with quickly and resolved.
We have nothing but praise for the team as our refurbishment was interrupted by the ‘Covid’ lockdown. Barry & Phil went out of their way to make sure our kitchen/diner refurbishment got finished. It took a little longer than anticipated due to circumstances outside of Eclipse control but every effort by the kitchen fitters, plasterer, electrician to get the materials needed to complete has been greatly appreciated by us. Ian who stripped out our old kitchen, knocked walls and ceilings down worked with gusto and always ensured he cleared and swept up each evening before he left, as did all involved.
All in all a great job done and we have no hesitation in our recommendation of Eclipse Kitchens. A fair price paid for a quality, stunning dream kitchen.

Amazing bedroom.

Amazing bedroom.
We use Eclipse every time we need fitted furniture / kitchen etc as the design, quality and service is outstanding. My parents 10 year old kitchen still looks like new. This time my son’s bedroom was fitted with an amazing matt charcoal contrasted with London concrete and the effect was fantastic. The design made a huge difference to small room and the standard of fitting was superb - very courteous and always tidy. Once again we are delighted with the results and always recommend Eclipse as the quality and design stands the rest of time and the after service is second to none.

Had an unpleasant experience with this…

Had an unpleasant experience with this company. Purchased to us very expensive wardrobes for a new build carpeted house. No questions were asked about what type of property the wardrobes would be put in. When the ' contract' arrived, it basically said that the house would be treated as a building site and any slippage of wardrobes was at homeowners own risk. Very inflexible unhelpful customer services and rude guy who came round to 'inspect progress' unannounced. , felt very uncomfortable in my own home and would not use this company again.

Hi there, we have never claimed to be 'cheap' but what we do promote is high quality furniture at fair prices. As you can imagine that once we have started fitting it does become a workplace (its impossible not to) but we do take all precautions to try and keep things as tidy as possible and our fitters always tidy up afterwards. In regard to the 'slippage of wardrobes' were not sure what you mean, if you are referring to our waiver to fit wardrobes on top of carpets then we always recommend to not fit on top of carpets as you can imagine if heavy weight is placed on top of a carpet over time the wardrobes will sink and then the ceiling scribes at the top of our fitted wardrobes will show a slight gab which i am sure the consumer would certainly not be happy with as we certainly arnt happy with that result so as standard we recommend cutting the carpet around our fitted wardrobes UNLESS signed by the customer that they are happy with that possibility. Steve in customer services is always flexible with our diaries in regards to fitting dates- there is always an alternative date and if any dates are requested we try our best to accommodate. Our site co-coordinator is there to pop round to our fitters to make sure everything is running as smoothly and as efficiently as possible and to provide assistance if needed. We are sorry you feel this way and you feel you wont use Eclipse again but we do have high standards of how we want to carry out our work and we wont compromise on this and this shows in our high recommendation rate.

Quality products and service

Our experience of Eclipse was positive from the beginning, when we first paid a tentative visit to the showroom to look at bedroom designs. We found their service excellent from the design and ordering stage right through to the installation, which was quick and painless for us. We are very pleased with the fitted wardrobes and the immense amount of storage we now have. I wonder how we ever managed before Eclipse sorted out our bedroom!

We are really pleased with our new…

We are really pleased with our new bedroom and would have no hesitation in recommending the company. From our initial visit to the showroom for advice to the completed installation, the service was excellent and we even asked for a modification ( an afterthought on our part) after fitting, which again was delivered quickly and efficiently.

Kitchen looks like a showroom

We had our kitchen installed in May we are really pleased with it. From day one when Mark came out to design it for us to Ian installing it for us. They are very professional, polite and understanding to our needs. It turned out better than we could imagine off the drawing. Thanks once again Eclipse.

Had my kitchen fitted a few months ago

Had my kitchen fitted a few months ago, we are very happy with it and cant praise Eclipse enough for all their hard work, from the very first day i walked in to showroom i was made to feel like my kitchen design was in the hands of the professionals, our designer was Mark, he went above and beyond to fit everything we wanted in to our kitchen, and nothing was to much trouble for him. he was extremely patient as we kept changing our mind on things and this never seemed to phase him. out fitters were Chris and Nathan who were fantastic, really nice men who were perfectionists with their work, they arrived daily exactly when they said they would be with us and worked hard all day to finish the job asap for us, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Eclipse to anyone, very professional, trustworthy and excellent value for money ..
