edel-optics are operating a scam operation. Do not buy from this company. I tried to buy sunglasses from them several months ago, they kept me hanging, saying that they were having trouble sourcing them.
When I ask for a refund for a product they have not delivered, they claim to be insolvent, and site that whilst they are able to continue trading, they cannot refund me the almost $400 I paid for my sunglasses.
SCAM SCAM SCAM - Do not do business with this company. They are not legitimate, and are out to scam money from customers.

I got caught out by free lenses promotion
I searched the entire web for frames I was interested in, it turned out that frames were the ones that were adding free lenses.
There was some problem with payment during the purchase, I tried to order many times using many different debit/credit cards. After consulting a telephone consultant, I made the payment via BLIK.
With so many attempts of ordering, mistake of choosing the wrong size of frames happened. I was told that there is no return/changes possible to correct size of frames or even a proposition on how to solve the issue due to installation of this "free lenses" - definitely caused by edel-website payment problems.
No refund
I returned the item and have now been waiting weeks for a refund. I have contacted them several times about this.
Didn't send the package nor they gave me any feedbacks-answer to multiple e-mails.
First of all I tried to order from the site via PayPal, witch after contacting them, I was informed that there was a problem from their end and it wasn’t possible.
At the moment PayPal option was available at the site.
I procced with the order, buy paying via credit card and I contacted them immediately to verify that the product was available and confirming the date of delivery.
At the time the product was available and the ETA would be at 5th of August.
They confirmed the availability, but didn’t give mr an ETA. I’ve contacted them via call AGAIN and I received the tracking information. Still I didn’t had an ETA from them.
As the days passed and there were not any updates for the delivery, I send them two e-mails asking for clarifications. NO ANSWER. The status at UPS was that the label was created but the courier had not received the package.
So I called them again and I was informed that there was a ‘mistake’ and the product is not available and I will receive an email from them with more clarifications.
Up until now i have not got any update not an answer from them not even an apology for their lack of communication.
Of course there is no compensation from the company, due to lack of respect to the customers.
I asked them to send the product but they still did not reply to me.
Overall bad customer support, not true updates for the delivery or the availability of the products, lack of communications from their part, do not give a ... for their customers, not even an apology.
Scam company
Scam company. I claimed the money I paid them for 2 orders from the insolvency court although they never send me an email about the expire date of the claim. I know I won’t get any money back. I also paid 10€ to send my file by post. They still function and cheat other customers as well!
Issue with refund
Once an order returned they do not issue a refund. Be careful! You can loose your money. As far as I can see I am not the only one with similar issue

Contact your bank and explain the situation and have them raise a cashback scheme to VISA/Mastercard, took 50 days because that’s the deadline this crap company is forced to answer legally. So try and get your money back!!

I finaly got my money back, NOT thanks to edel-optics. As someone else suggested, I submitted a chargeback dispute using my bank (revolut), and after some time they managed to have my money returned. I urge anyone in this situation to contact their bank.

they are now asking me to pay 22 euro if I want to be on the list of people who MIGHT get a refund.
That's because I was late to claim my free spot by the 10th of may, because THEY DID NOT SEND ME A NOTIFICATION TO LET ME KNOW THE INSOLVENCY PROCEDINGS WERE OVER, AS THEY SAID THEY WOULD IN 2 PREVIOUS COMUNICATIONS.
The fact that they are still functioning as a shop and people are still buying from them despite coutless bad reviews baffles me.

[tl.dr] I am more or less just repeating what most of the recent 1star reviews are saying.
I have been waiting for 3 months, contacted them 2 or 3 times in this span, they always responded promptly but, apparently, not truthfully.
They did offer to give me back the money..the fact that I believed their lies about the manufacturer delaying orders and whatnot and choose to wait longer is on me, but as I come to understand from other reviews I am reading, that would not have changed anything since apparently they just delayed reimbursements until insolvency anyway.
The last time I contacted them to ask if they could answer more concretely about when should i expect the delivery, they said 3-5weeks. That was 4 weeks ago, so I suppose they did deliver on that promise. Not the order, but the email (someone pasted its contents further down) basically saying not only the order but also the reimbursement is off the table for now.
The fact that i have been looking for a pair of glasses that i really liked, (to make sure i would wear them) for ALMOST 1 YEAR, and the only pair I did find in a physical shop in my country were of different colours is only adding to my frustration..
At this point, I don't even want eyeglasses anymore, at least i have an excuse to not see manure coming my way. The money back I do need though.

I made a purchase since last November, the product was available but i never received me order and now the company does not refund! I have sent a lot of emails and the months are passing with no answer about the refund. Very very disappointed, I would never buy again especially with instant payment of the product!
Edel-Optics possible online fraud
I have been waiting for a Tom Ford frame since December 19th when I made my order and I keep getting the runaround. I believe now this is a scam, seeing other similar complaints to mine here.
I am waiting to speak to a real person who will immediately refund my money or deliver my frames, otherwise I am taking legal action through our german legal office, as well as action against their online business filing complaints against them to Google Fraud, the European Cybercrime Centre and all other relevant organizations as they are still accepting orders on their website, clearly with the intention of never delivering.

One of the worst responses to…
One of the worst responses to fulfilling orders I have ever had the misfortune to experience. Ordered Tom Ford glasses and paid for express delivery. On the anniversary of the delivery (2wks from order date) I received an email informing me that due to technical issues at the manufacturers there would be a delay of up to 3 to 4 weeks. I then cancelled the order and requested a refund. No response forthcoming I called directly. CS excuses ranged from technical difficulties in dealing with refunds through the website to refunds having to be approved by management which would take a further 4 to 6 weeks to process. I tried to contact head office but all roads lead back to the same person in customer services. No resolve but really concerned that this company is acting illegally. Beware!!

I purchased an order for a glass frame at the end of September then I was informed that it is not in stock. After waiting for months I requested a refund in December and Edel-Optics confirmed the receipt of the requested bank details on 20th December. By the time, I have sent an email and reminder asking for update regarding to my refund though, still no payment received as of today (13th February). Such a poor service! I do not recommend to anyone!!!!
