Disregard of a persons disability
The. Shop keeper in the Eden disability shop on Market Street called Shantel . Told me because of my disability I would get the VAT taken off my purchase but I realised once I got home she had not taken off the VAT. This is out of order as I am autistic and have ADHD, have arthritis of my back . I feel she took advantage of my disability ! I went back in the shop as I could not remember if she gave me a receipt she spoke to me very rudely and said they do not give copies of receipts ! I later found my receipt which is dated 31/03/2026. ( I could not understand what the problem of giving a copy was) her attitude towards me gives me reason to think she is used to lying to people!

Today my husband and I visited Eden Mobility Limited in Leicester. Shantel helped us decide what sort of help we needed and also showed us the range of Rolaters. She advised us which one would be best. In the end we both purchased Rehand air cushion walking sticks.

I went to eden to see if I could buy a wheelchair that I could buy and take away so I could use straight the way but Caleb was very helpful and I bought a wheelchair and a Mobility scooter. Excellent job Caleb.
