DONT BE FOOLED!

PLEASE READ TO THE END ( DONT GET CAUGHT OUT )

Where do we start.

First off we was approached from school supply service ( ed first ) in regards to taking over the property maintenance on our local area, the reason for this was the current builder was retiring! ( or so we was told )

We was told we would be billed for £444 inc vat
To be put into all the school,colleges & community halls in our area ( over 120 )

A few weeks went buy and we received the invoice for £444 but not one bit on paperwork in regards to the property’s we would be working for or anything to do with terms and conditions.

Upon further investigation we would manny manny negative reviews both on trust pilot and open & private builders forums. This gave us a lot of concern paying for something we haven’t even been sent documentation for.

Further to this we was then contacted by Ed first to say we need an online account & profile and we can either do this ourselfs or they can do it for a cost £120
We opted to do this ourselves to them a few days later received yet another invoice from them for £120.

After numerous emails back and forth to explain we did not ask for this to be done and gave no instruction to do this they finally sent me and email to say they have done the profile and will wave the bill of £120,
However we still have to pay £444 for an account that we still have received nothing about.

After numerous emails sent asking for more information & why there is no one covering this area anymore ect I received no response to these emails apart from outstanding accounting bills being sent.

After a very brief phone call with one of the female staff she advised there’s lots of reasons why they don’t currently have a company carrying out there maintenance , poor workmanship. Not being professional- completely different from the first ( COLD CALL ) that we received.

They still haven’t given any details about the services we are paying for even after my office and accounts manager has spent time discussing over the phone. All they refer to is ( THE BOX HAS BEEN TICKED ) they can also give an IP address and time stamp when it was done ! Very fraudulent.

They have since sent a letter threatening to take me to court for the fees plus charges. This is for a service we received nothing from !!
PLEASE BE CAREFUL ! ....

Also the tried to bill me for £120 to me for the profile that they stole the intellectual property rights form without my permission copying everything from. So no actual work went into it.

100% happy for anyone to contact me to ask anymore information

So far, so good

So far, so good!
Have recently started working with Ed First and tenders4u and, having no previous experience with either, I am very impressed. Not only was the setting up of the profiles straight forward, Matt was on hand to offer prompt response to any queries and further optimize our page to make it as user friendly as possible. We look forward to developing opportunities and business with the local communities through this platform.

Recently started working with edfirst and so far so good. Excellent customer service always there when you need any advice and give a quick response which is exactly what you want. Had brilliant service from Matt Wright who gave our profile the boost it needed in order to attract clients.

Great customer service

Great customer service. Matt made my profile looks million times better, with clear message and easy to navigate layout. Required (cosmetic) amendments, were done in matter of hours. Thank you Matt!

Not Good!

Have been with Edfirst for well over 12 months (probably longer but did renew in January 2019) and have had one request for IT services which is something I do not do! Apart from this, no other request for services and terrible customer service on the whole. have been told by local schools that "you're wasting your money". Not my words but local head teachers!
Its fine when asking for money, promise you the world but as a sole trader, cannot afford to be paying out for this advertisement when it does not work. Have found better publicity and social media works better to be honest. Save your money and invest in something else!

Great company very helpful

I’m new with Ed first and tender 4 u and they have made it very easy for me and helped me when Iv asked.

Good

Apart for some confusion about a money back garantee policy, i have a good feeling about the organization. People have been nice and explained how it works and particularly happy about Matthew's help and expertise.

It really is so far so good…

It really is so far so good .In the set up phase I have had excellent communication with each team member and good support to get my pitch visible.
Responses have been swift , dialogue has shown a high level of understanding about what I need from them as well what teachers might need from me as a coach.
I cannot fault the tech support from Matt and co.
So now with everything in place and in a good postition because of the input from Edfirst, I await the start of September term and responses from schools, feeling that so far i have had an excellent service from the team.Many Thanks Heather

Edfirst really deliver on what they say.

Edfirst have delivered on what they have said, every time. Communication is clear and the IT support from Matthew in particular is excellent. They offer a bespoke and tailored service, and a limited number of contributors. In addition they also helped answer questions quickly and throughly and so far it has been a pleasure working with them.

Great so far - will await ROI

I have been impressed so far with the level of service received, Matthew has been great in setting up my profile for me. The proof will now be in the pudding as I will be expecting to receive ROI, the cost is quite expensive. With that in mind at this stage I have rated @ 4🌟
I am hopeful the selling will live up to expectations.

So far, so good!

Cheri at Edfirst has been very helpful in terms of getting us set up as a supplier on the platform, including populating the profile with content from our website to get us started. She's also been very prompt in getting back to us and actioning our requests. Now, we just need to wait and see whether we attract any leads and can convert them into projects!

Matthew was a superstar!

We were assisted with our pages on edfirst.com by Matthew who was very prompt and helpful. He created pages that reflect our company and what we are trying to say and I was absolutely delighted with the result. Matthew was also a real pleasure to deal with and I felt very lucky that he was assigned to our account. I would provide a 5Star review but I am waiting to see if we generate any enquires via the portal.
Fingers crossed, in the fullness of time we will and I will return to provide a 5star review!

Been with school supplies service /…

Been with school supplies service / edgiest for the past 4 years now.

Happy with the level of work that comes in from this system though the schools in my local area.

The support team are brilliant helping me with my profiles and getting the most out of my systems. Recently they have also revamped my website for me which was dated and supplies with me business cards to further promote myself.

Keep up the good work.

Great service

Great service. Great team. The support is second to none. Range of tenders some were good but the contact with school for it equipment was brilliant. Nothing to complain about they did what they said.

Avoid at any cost

Avoid - I can't say this is bad value because it has no value at all.
I'm embarassed that I was suckered into this by pushy telesales with big promises. The reality is that the results have been non-existent, we haven't had a single lead of a school looking to upgrade to LED lighting, even though this is an active area generally. We have had a few tender notifications through, but generally they bear absolutely no relevance to our sector or our geographic area.
When I complained at the 10 month point, saying they had 2 months to put this right, they responded with total silence.
At least they've not had the brass neck to ring me for a renewal - that's obviously not their business plan, just rip off new customers and assume no-one will renew.

The most shocking organisation i have…

The most shocking organisation i have ever dealt with, full false promises, and they take you money and run. Not a single lead in 8 months. Promised my money back if I got no enquiries, and all approaches have been ignored. The only decent thing is Matt who was excellent in getting my profile sorted. Avoid!!

I see from our records that you have received 50 notifications of opportunities in your skills area, I do appreciate that some may not be suitable but only recently you received notification of an opportunity for Robert May's School — IT Support Services Contract which is in your post code. So I am puzzled as to why you say you have had 0 leads?
