Terrible design

Even if the actual content wasn't so easy a toddler could complete it, the web design is terrible. You don't have to complete 80% of what it tells you to do, can skip through pages, and it will randomly tell you to open your side menu for no reason. Whoever made this should be ashamed, and take a web design class.

don't do this, please

This website you learn NOTHING from, I swear. Like teachers say "It's going to help you in maps testing," but all it does is make me lose brain cells. Because even if you get 2 questions wrong on the final lesson, you have to start all over again, like for gods sake no one wants to do this not even the teachers pet.

id rather kms and lose my left hand than do this.

i hope whoever made edmentum loses ALL of their limbs so they can never make another horrid ABSOLUTELY DOOKIE APP EVER AGAIN. Everything is wrong, unorganized and sucks agjsdfsjhsgfh. The progress checks aren't related to the subjects you learn in the lessons and because its so faulty i'm behind 20 chapters because they dont teach correctly. They have literal 5 dollar robots from shein writing and programming their lessons.

I WISH ALL SCHOOLS BANNED THIS WEBSITE

An awful company

Personally, I have never used Edmentum in my life. But It surely is affecting and ruining most parts of my life. See, my Alpha… is required to use the evil, evil Edmentum. And from what I’ve heard, it’s terrible. Not just dreadful, I mean flat out STUPID. I’ve been told that it’s forcing students to learn things way past their actual level. Which is stupid, because I’ve also heard it’s saying things that are literally just wrong. Not partially correct, WRONG. It gives kids SO much work. Now let’s put this in my perspective. I personally do not use it, as I’ve said. But most of the time when I’m bored I would like someone to talk to. It’s always Edmentum. Every time I wanna talk to the ONLY person that’s usually available to me, it’s Edmentum. And of course that isn’t a very good reason. But if it was like any other student app, it wouldn’t be giving butt loads of work that the kids have to do. I go to an in person public school, we learn a good amount of things in class, and get maybe a one page homework assignment. If Edmentum was anything like that, I’m sure it wouldn’t take all day after school. Excuse me for not being the best source (since I don’t actually use it) but I’m trusting the sources I’ve gotten this information from and how it is affecting my personal life.

Don't waste your time

Ok, where to start? When our district first bought Edmentum, it was supposed to be a step up from our other learning program. But, if anything, it was a step down. Edmentum has Exact Paths and in our school, we have Reading, Math and Language Arts. For each Path, you do one or two lessons, and then a progress check. The first problem with this program is that for the progress checks, you have to get an 80% to pass. That in itself is ok, but then if you get a lower than 80%, it doesn't tell you what you did wrong and you have to redo all the lessons you just did (which takes 30 minutes or more). Another problem is that the lessons are almost never the same subject as the progress check. You are left to try and comprehend what you just 'learned' and try to connect it with the progress check, which has nothing that you learned. The third issue is each lesson starts and ends with a 5 second video. The starting video has an introduction, and the end has a "Good job you're done" video. This not only wastes my time, but it also shortens my patience. Keep in mind, this god-forsaken program is used both in middle school AND high school. High school attendees don't have the time to waste time in a program that won't teach you anything. This program is also really slow, which might not be Edmentums fault, but if someone in my district is reading this, WE NEED BETTER WI-FI. In conclusion, this is a terrible, time-consuming program, and schools should not be buying this.

My school has had me on edmentum since…

My school has had me on edmentum since freshman year(I'm a Junior in Hs now). I have not learned anything using this app and my school continues to use it simply for the fact that they do not have teachers. I just don't like how it teaches, It gives us 20-30 slides that I say could be summarized in a shorter and efficient way to where the students can understand it. It sucks because we go through slides to go straight to a test it would be better if there were more videos, examples, practice and you don't want to overwhelm users by putting too much. There are some YouTube videos out there that just have things explained more simply. It is especially difficult if you have a math course.

Jebediah Theophilius Earl Jēbber IV is still my homie dont get me wrong :P

Cameron Chalmers, before you dropped Edmentum I was just a man in a sleeping bag on the street whose only friend was a pigeon named Jebediah Theophilius Earl Jēbber IV. But after this album…boy oh boy, where do I even begin…I am now the host of The Tonight Show, The Late Show, Jeopardy, Talk Tuah, Wheel of Fortune, and Family Feud. My new boyfriend is Elon Musk, and we own 80 private jets (one of which we named Edmentum). The website was so good that a new “illion” number was invented; I am now a spillionaire. Thank you Edmentum!!!
