Amazing experience. Fun, safe, and so much personal growth on this trip.
If you want the cheapest quality option and your child is easygoing, EF may work. But if you want reliable safety and medical accommodations, customer service, and the itinerary and lodging quality that is advertised, look at other companies.
The experience was fantastic and would definitely do it again if it was an option. Thoroughly enjoyed our guide (Kentaro) and the culture and history.
Excellent trip, learned a lot of history but also toured modern car factory and other exciting places.

This was an excellent tour! My son said this was so wonderful. He is so grateful to EF for this experience! The food, hotels, culture, tour guide and learning experience....all excellent !!

Hiroshima was incredible. The Mazda museum was a hit and the food and accommodations were spot on. Incredible experience that will change my students for the better. Erin and Maddie were a great team at EF, and Takuma took care of us in from Tokyo and beyond!
Harajuku is fun
An amazing trip of a lifetime! My son's first time abroad and one of his two sisters who joined him was her first time. We sent them in confidence because one of his sisters traveled her first time abroad with EF her senior year to Europe. Her experience was phenomenal and the trip to Japan this summer was spectacular! They made friends, immersed in a beautiful culture, learned so much rich history and experiences that have enriched them for lifetime! My son is set to travel next summer to Germany. He loves history and is especially excited to have his friend and parents traveling with him! Without EF I don't believe my children would have had the opportunity to have their lives enriched with these once in a lifetime experiences and the gift of traveling abroad! Thank you EF Educational Tours!!

An amazing experience! Everything was organized and well thought out. Everyday was fun and exciting! We had our own time to explore to different shops or try new eating spots. A phenomenal experience I will never forget!
The itinerary was perfect for our group. We arrived early on our first day and the tour started as the city started to get active. The kids had a great first impression and the timing couldn't have been better. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom, which made for some great pictures.
This was Nakai‘s first EF adventure and it did not disappoint him. The pace of the Japan tour was fantastic and the kids loved trying new foods and being exposed to a culture so foreign to themselves. The tour director was a great fit and very patient with such a large group.

Hotel in Tokyo was not in a good location, took to long each day to travel to destinations, Hotel was not clean, breakfast was good. Itinerary was not provided before time so we could schedule things to do during free time. Too much shopping. Too little time at museums, castles and scheduled places. 1 hour at Osaka Castle not enough time, 1 hour at the open air museum, Peace Memorial Park not enough time.
