Safe hotels, great food, and excellent excursions!

The tour was excellent and far exceeded my expectations. We learned so much about Paris and London, packing a lot of culture and history into a very short time. I've gotten so much positive feedback from the students. Leslie--our tour director-- was wonderful! She kept us organized, informed and kept our spirits up. Stewie and Magus were great tour guides--funny, personable and very knowledgable. We chose upgraded food and had many wonderful meals. The hotels were safe and comfortable but about an hour outside of town, so there was a lot of bus time, which the kids used to read, edit photos, journal and decompress. We walked 6-10 miles a day, but were prepared for that. I wish we had more time at the hotels--the lack of sleep was a bit wearing by the end. We are already planning our next EF tour.

It was amazing!!! It was all I hoped it would be and more! I struggled with wheelchair accessibility, but EF has said they were putting a lot of resources into making it better! I know they will!
Great!!!!!
Great job
EF Tours is very thorough with information leading up to our trip and made everything so easy to get done with reminders, including emails and the way their website is set up. Thank you for making lifelong memories for me and my daughter on our trip to London and Paris!
Well organized. They hit all the major sites. Our 15 year old son really enjoyed this trip.

My student loved the trip!
So wonderful!
Wonderful
Great experience
The tour guides, Andrew and Rosie, were great. However, that is where it ends. The hotels were an hour+ away from any of the sites we were visiting at any time during the day which wasted at least 2 hours every day. We were rushed from place to place. Even when we were given time to "look around," the amount of time was not enough to really see anything as it was prime tourist season. Additionally, at major sites like the Louvre, Versailles, Hampton Court, and the Tower of London, we were given very little time to actually see the site, and, in three of those cases, we also had to also eat our lunch, do any souvenir shopping, and get back to the meeting site in that limited time. The options for food was always the cheapest faire provided by the restaurant and nothing by small glasses of water for drink unless we some how were able to get up and get to the bar to order something else. Additionally, only one of our provided dinners the whole time we were there was local cuisine. Of our meals in Paris, two of the meals were German and Basque, and of our meals in London, two of the meals were Korean and Polish. Not to mention in the German restaurant was flooded with other EF Tour groups, only had one toilet, and we were only given 45 minutes for our 63 member group to eat. We did not travel to France and the U.K. to have food from another country and to be rushed worse than an American meal. The additional tour guides were good, but rushed us so badly that half the time the group couldn't keep up. Especially in London. Plus as Andrew and Rosie spent the time were were stuck driving into the cities every day giving us facts and history of the area, the guides they brought on usually just ended up repeating the same thing we had already heard, sometimes multiple times previously. Lastly, since EF Tours waited so long to book plane tickets we had two layovers on the way home when we could have flown from London Heathrow to a US hub and then to Lexington. I had paid $8,300 before lunch and souvenirs for myself and my son to take this trip. Cost analysis of had we purchased the food, plane tickets, hotel, transportation, and tour/site access costs would have NO where come close to that much even with factoring in the tour guides measly pay. EF Tours is obviously a scam company that takes your money and does the bare minimum. They tried to appease the group from leaving a bad review by given us "extra" at the Polish restaurant and adding the London Eye to our tour, but it was NO where near enough to make up was what should have been a trip of a life time.

Good tour thanks
We lived our experience on tour. This was our first but won't be out last. The only thing I wish was changed was some of the food items. When in London would have loved a fish and chips option. And in Paris something more Parisian.
EF Tours does not have the customer's interests at heart. Or they simply don't understand that you can put too much into a trip, reducing its quality. Or that base location is important, and understanding local customs and culture is critical to a successful tour.
Great experience over all
We got to see the highlights of both Paris and London on this trip. We didn't have to wait in line for the major attractions, the hotels were nice, and the meals were great. The best part was our tour directors Andrew and Rosie. They brought so much energy to the trip and really connected with the students and families.
My son had a wonderful time and EF covered all the bases.
This tour features the best of both Paris and London!
Awesome experience
