This has been the best tour I have led (so far!). I cannot say enough positive things. We saw MORE than I have on any tour, our tour director was incredible, organized, and efficient, and the group we were paired with was a lot of fun. The students were happy with all the locations, hotels, and the majority of the food. They felt comfortably trying new things and embraced all of the challenges. We ended up with an extra day in Italy because we didn’t take the ferry, and EF added on a tour of Assisi for us. Our tour director also has a fun scavenger hunt for us to try while in Florence. So glad I got to take part in this incredible experience.

This tour is something that I would definitely recommend to my family and friends. My daughter keeps on raving about the fun adventures and the amazing food she had.

The Adriatic Odyssey was great! My students loved the cruise around the islands the most. Stopping in Cesme and being able to to to connect all the history there to what we had seen in Rome and Athens was a great experience for them. There were so many stops throughout this trip that I had little knowledge about. Obviously the Rome and Athens is a big draw, but the other stops along the way are equally as enjoyable. I highly recommend this trip!

Air Canada was AWFUL! Delayed flights, very RUDE customer service on the ground in California, Canada and Germany. LOST luggage was a HUGE hassle and caused a few of us to miss tour events. I gave all travelers the very clear instructions, NO CHECKED BAGS, along with all airline requirements for proper baggage sizing. All students followed all luggage sizing policies. Still, many bags were taken from us at either check-in or even boarding, and the desk staff were very rude and insulting about it. I scoured the Air Canada website prior to leaving to figure out meal service, and it was never clear info for our flight from San Diego to Toronto. I asked at the check-in counter if there would be a meal provided on our flight, the desk attendant said yes. When food service came around on the plane there was only food you could purchase, it was not included in the flight service. I told all kids to order what they wanted (I would've told them to either pack a lunch from home or be prepared to purchase it in the airport before boarding) and was prepared to just buy them all a lunch. I had also contacted my Tour Consultant to ask if she knew, which she did not. In the end, Air Canada did comp. all kids food/lunch on flight. I should be clear that all staff ON the airplanes were very kind, considerate and polite to us all along the way. Our group got split up after the flight delay with some not arriving in Rome until the late on the 22nd, missing The Vatican City, with no option to try and make another trip/tour possible. Many were VERY disappointed. Our bus in Rome had NO air conditioning, and NO fresh air circulation options. I had kids on the back sections of the bus getting sick! Athens left a lot to be desired except for the Acropolis & Parthenon. The city was very dirty and impacted with not much to see or do within the city in terms of sights, exploring, etc. ALL travelers really liked the Greek Evening/dinner. From Rome to Meteora was great, but quickly declined in Athens. The hotel was good, and had a great roof top pool that some of the kids enjoyed. Many travelers wanted to see the water, as advertised on the posters and fliers provided by EF that I handed out & posted to generate interest. Many were disappointed to learn that no beach trip was included, nor could be arranged once there. I do hope EF will be refunding monies to students who did not get to tour/visit Vatican City. All things considered, I give this tour a 3.

We apologize for the negative experience you had with Air Canada. While we do not have direct control over the airline's operations, we understand the frustration and inconvenience caused by delayed flights, customer service, and lost luggage. We will address this issue to ensure improved services for future travelers.

We regret the lack of air conditioning and fresh air circulation on the bus in Rome, as well as the negative experience in Athens. Unfortunately air-conditioning is not guaranteed in buses or hotels outside of the United States. We strive to provide comfortable transportation and memorable experiences in all destinations. We appreciate your feedback and will work to ensure better arrangements and options in these areas.

Your feedback is important to us as we continually strive to improve our services. We apologize for any negative impact these issues may have had on your overall experience and appreciate your understanding.

The trip was ok. The provided meals were below par, and our tour bus had no air conditioning, and we didn’t get to go in certain exhibits that were in the original itinerary. Ok at best.

Highly recommend! It was beautifully organized while also nicely face-paced! A lot of beautiful things to see and do! Very well planned and structured! Would love to do it again someday!

This was a great itinerary with such a variety of sites. We were able to experience the larger cities as well as see some of the country side and less touristy sites.

There's lots of travel time but it's necessary to see all of the sites that are spread out across the country. We were well rewarded by the awesome sites that we were able to experience while we were in Greece!
