Overall, it was a good experience, except for the first hotel, which had many issues. The cruise was nice, and the children learned a lot about Greece. There was a lot of eating and shopping, as well as culture & history.
The tour itself was well planned, enjoyed the cruise and islands, great tour guide. The flight home was horrendous. Our small group of 17 was split up with both leaders flying to a different airport than the other half of the group. One group, without leaders, not only had a very short layover but also switched airlines with very little time to get from one place to another. It was very stressful all the way home.
Easy site to navigate, clear instructions and payment schedule. My daughter loved the trip through EF tours and has not stopped talking about it! She loved the tour guide and itinerary.
This trip was not up to typical EF standards. If it had been my first experience with EF it would’ve been my last. My daughter waited for five hours on a layover at a location that was just as convenient as the airport that she took off from. Next, she waited 2+ hours in her destination airport waiting for her adjoining group then they had to wait 4+ hours upon departure because the group that joined them had to take off earlier. She ended up wasting over 11 hours not even on her tour. Onceshe was on her tour, the locations were great however, the tour guides were lacking. Some were reading off of the placards and offered no additional information and they only let them stay at the historic sites for 45 minutes to an hour and had them shop for more than five. She did not experience the same level of Educational materials that I’ve experienced on previous trips and I would not recommend this tour.
This tour has it all - history, culture, and the elegance of the Greek islands. Never a dull moment, but a great mix of activity and relaxation.
Amazing trip and experience! Greek night was the best. The student cruise was just okay. The cruise food was not kid friendly and lacked a sitdown group experiences.
My daughter and her friends loved every minute of it! Their guide Julio was awesome! Wants to do another EF Tour!
My 13-year-old had a fantastic time on their EF Tours trip to Greece and Turkey! What really stood out was EF Tours' excellent communication. They were always responsive to parent inquiries and concerns, and provided clear, detailed guidelines at every stage—from initial tour details right through to practical packing advice.
Had the best Tour Director ever. He was so good with the students and ensured we had the best experience in Greece. The kids loved it!!!
I wish we would’ve seen Mikonos during the day but overall an amazing experience!
Would never go again! No ac, drivers always late, rude people, cruise was worse ever and food was disgusting. They moved us ports, no hot water and very dated. Mold everywhere. Dirty everywhere. Don't waste your money.
So much fun learning about Greece. Enjoyed our tour guides. I felt safe. I was impressed with time management. Felt special by everyone on EF. It is traveling so some luggage was lost by Canada Air and the cruise ship food was fair. But there is lots of time to eat ant all the different Greek islands. The only thing I didn’t like was the lunch cooking class. It cost extra. So I didn’t think it was worth the extra expense

It was a great trip.
My kid had a great experience, made new friends and felt safe. Some parts of the tour were not designed for kids her age. They left aside some important things to visit and ended up going to a rug factory. Price-quality of the tour felt unbalanced. The tour guide was great!!
My son doesn't get excited about much. When he was surprised with his first car his only reaction was "Thank you". Before the trip, he seemed to not really care that he was going. When he came home, that was the first time I got to see him really amped up about something. He had the trip of a lifetime!
My daughter and I went to Athens and the Greek Islands with EF. We had a fantastic time! Our Tour Director, Danai, was amazing and very knowledgeable. Honestly, everyone on the EF Team on land was great. The itinerary was well planned; we were able to visit all the famous spots and some hidden gems. Overall, a great trip! We will definitely take another EF Tour before she goes off to college.
Things could be improved by taking money off the overall cost and allowing more people to pay for their own dinners and thus resulting in better quality restaurants.
