Subpar. The only redeeming qualities were our amazing tour guide and the Prati hotel hosts

My travel experience was beyond my expectations and one I will treasure forever.
I can say the itinerary was packed but what a great experience! Patrizia and Giuliano are forever in our hearts! She put so much of herself into sharing her country, history, music etc. and Giuliano made us feel safe! We love every place we visited, and the tour guides were excellent! Definitely an experience we will never forget! I would've love to stay more time in Sorrento though!
Great experience for the age group involved!
Exceptional tour. Safe, well-paced, educational, and fun!
Will send another child in a heartbeat 💓
Italy has always been a dream destination for me. EF went above and beyond to ensure we could experience the most pivotal destinations in the country. Thank you so much for this bucket list trip!
Overall tour was excellent. Our group had flight delays, missed flights and other emergencies and EF was able to support us every step of the way. Our tour Director in Italy absolutely SAVED our trip. She was able to adjust itineraries and guides to be sure we missed as little as possible. The pace of the tour was just about right. We lost a day due to a missed flight, so our actual tour felt rushed in spots, but that was not EF's fault.
Italy was besutif
Overall great trip! Students spoke very highly of the tour guide.
Amazing experience. Great people.
It was a good experience just wished they had more of a free time to explore and not be on a rush all the time.
Valentina was amazing! She made our trip a five star experience!
Would give 5 stars for: Less time in Rome; more in Assisi (overnight Saturday) and Sorrento Better food quality at hotels More comfortable beds, sheets and towels
I am rating my son’s experience with 2 stars. My child had a great time in Italy, but the reason for the low grade is my experience with EF tours pricing policy. Early this year the group had several students dropping out of the trip. My child signed up in February and was one of the students to fill these spots. Our total for the trip was $5195.00. When I attended the very first meeting about this trip the price was $4300.00, with $95 dollars sign up fee. I believe that there was an early bird discount between $200-300 dollars. I made two calls to your agency and questioned the great increase in the price. I was given a very poor answer “that the prices have gone up”. I don’t believe that is true. The air fair tickets were purchased couple of months after we signed up. That should not have made a difference in the price. The students had until the end of April to confirm their travel information, before the tickets were purchased. The price of the hotel stay would not have increased, because it was a group reservation. I checked the prices for the hotels the group stayed at, they were in the 100 euro per night price range. The same argument applies for the admission fees. They were a group reservation for the amount of attendees, not for individuals, and have not increased in price in Italy since the beginning of this year. The bus fee is for the rental of the bus, and not for who signed up when. The food again was priced based on the number of people in the group. I can’t think of anything that was included in the trip that would justify almost $800 difference in the price. I believe that your agency took advantage of the 5 students who joined in February. The right and fair price should have been the original price of the trip minus the early bird discount for which we don’t qualify. We were in less favorable position than the other families were in with less time to pay for the trip. By filling the 5 vacancy EF tours maintained the original number of travelers and had no reason to overcharge the parents. Your motto is EF education first but at the end of the day I was educated in being taking advantage of by the agency. I hope this feedback makes a difference in your policy, and you don’t take financial advantage of the students who sign up late.
Absolutely wonderful experience!
Thank you!
My daughter was left for an extra day in Paris without her group. This was very traumatic for her. Apparently EF didn’t have enough plane tickets
The sights and tours were amazing. The last two days were in Capri and Sorrento and they were spectacular
My family and I had an amazing time in Italy. We had the best tour guide, Jason! He went above and beyond to make our experience special. He was attentive to the needs of the group and patient with us. He was personable but professional at all times. I would definitely recommend tours with Jason and the amazing Dominico (our bus driver). The hotels were nice and the sights were absolutely spectacular. We had a wonderful time and will remember this experience for the rest of our lives.
