Phenomenal trip! We would do it again! We had a great guide who showed us all the major historical sites. Awesome, local cool sites to see, wonderful local authentic food! Just a wonderful trip over all! Charter bus was fantastic, lodging was great too!

The Moxy hotel in Germany and the hotel in Munich were beautiful. The hotel in Czech and in Switzerland were not as nice. The bus was always clean and comfortable and on time. It would be nice if we could use the bathrooms on the bus it would give us more time to tour places. The food was excellent on this tour and the added stops were a wonderful bonus

Amazing itinerary!
My daughter had a fantastic time travelling to all the countries. Lots of educational trips and experiences. I would recommend this tour as for its diversity of culture. Our representative Dawnelle and her mom were great guardians for all the kids. Highly recommend EF Tours. This is the second trip our family has taken with EF.
Prague is so BEAUTIFUL!! I will definitely go back to visit again.

This was a well curated tour.
The excursions were wonderful, the tour director was also fabulous. However, the hotels were not good. They were far out of the cities, they were very hot, and students were in groups of up to four in a room! Some of the local guides were good, some were not. Students felt like there was not enough free time. I personally felt that my issues were with food not being very good and the hotels. I am really torn on if I will continue to lead trips. I also felt that the history parts of the trip were lacking, missing and in Berlin we were given NO time at Topography of Terror. The local guide tried to skip it completely. Overall, I think students had fun, however again the rooming and food really has put a damper on my mind. Moreover, a student dropped their passport on the plane in Munich. I tried to work with the airline immediately to retrieve it. First, they said they had it then they didn't. Finally, as we were boarding, they found it. Discover airlines who you guys booked us on SUCKED!!!!!!! WORST AIRLINE I HAVE EVER FLOWN ON!!!! PLEASE STOP USING THEM!!!!!!!!! They would not let the student fly with a colored copy of her passport, which most allow you to do so. This was not the family of fours fault who saved to go on this trip. EF made them pay to rebook their flights. This was shameful, and embarrassing. I hope EF can make it right with the Stewart family. More on Discover airlines, these are old planes operated by Eurowings. The air on the planes didn't work, the planes were dirty, the flight attendants were rude, the seats were small, and the planes were consistently late. I was told we would be flying on a major US or international airline. Delta American United or even Swiss or Lufthansa would have been great!!! No, we flew the cheap of the cheap. Discover made students pay to check bags that they said were too large for carry on and had major attitude with the students. Discover IS NOT LUFTHANSA! It feels like on transportation food and lodge EF has major progress to make, stop cutting corners please. It turns off teachers and students and was embarrassing to me and shocking.
My experience was highly positive overall. I especially enjoyed the walking tours with local hosts, the Czech folklore evening, Neuschwanstein Castle, and time we had on our own in Prague, Vaduz, and Luzern. I enjoyed the camaraderie built through tour theme song, “secret agent” report outs, and quizzes on the bus. In terms of constructive feedback: Even better would have been to spend more time in fewer locations as the ratio of bus time to being at locations was too high on some days. That was hard, especially on young bodies. I suggest skipping Herenchiemsee and instead tour the BMW factory/museum. Two palaces was a bit much for one day, and it would have been nice to actually have time outside of the bus in Munich. The time on our own in Berlin on the first day was a bust because everyone had jet lag and weren’t thinking well enough to spend our time productively and wisely. We really needed someone who knew the area well and wasn’t jet lagged to lead the group on this first day.
Tour director Julia was great. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. She was great with communication and getting us where we needed to be. She made the experience better than we could have imagined.
