This is a gem of a tour! We didn't know much about the cities or countries as they do not get as much attention as London and Paris. I am so glad we went! The cities were large, but felt quaint at the same time. We had free time in every city to explore and it was very possible to do most all the things you wanted to do in five to six hours. Our Tour Guide Igor was fantastic! He added some appreciated perspective around the World Wars, the Dachau Concentration Camp and how his own country has been impacted over decades of government and country changes. It was a lot to move through four countries in 11 days, but even though we were up early and out late, there was just so much to see and do that things moved at a good pace. It was fortunate that our Tour Leader added on the optional two days in Bern, Switzerland. It was one of the favorite stops we had at the Emmentaler Cheese Tour! This trip gave a great balance to scheduled tours and activities along with lots of free time to explore on our own.
