This was my first trip with EF, and it exceeded my expectations. I really appreciated how well everything was organized from beginning to end. Our tour guide, Kenneth, was always friendly, approachable, and highly professional, making the experience even more enjoyable. The hotels were excellent, and every detail of the itinerary was thoughtfully planned and executed. Overall, it was an incredible experience, and I would definitely travel with EF again.

It was an amazing trip from start to finish. Everything was organized and fun. Rhyan was the best tour guide! Our bus drivers in Costa Rica and Panama did amazing job as well.
This was our second time on this tour with this same itinerary. I can say with certainty that I would absolutely return to Costa Rica, but probably not to Panama. The “Pura Vida” flow just doesn’t transfer over to Panama. You can feel it. Panama is beautiful and absolutely should be visited at least once, but if given the choice, I would have spent more days in Costa Rica. My students also felt like the tour become slower and a bit boring once we arrived to Panama. The visit to the Canal for example has changed drastically. Last time, we had a personal guide walk us through an amazingly curated museum which finished with us standing right at the platform to watch the ships make their crossing. Now, they stick you in an American style IMAX cinema to watch a 45 minute documentary about the canal, followed by the masses fighting for a spot on the bleachers to see the ships cross from afar (away and off the platform). Definitely not the same experience. Most of my students fell asleep in the theater.
Our Grandson really enjoyed the trip. Was a great experience. He loved everything about the trip including the group he went over with.
Such a cool experience! The EF system makes it so easy to navigate the trip and what is needed to make it happen!

Our guide Alonso was amazing. He was wonderful with the students and very informative. We all learned so much about the areas we traveled to. Was skeptical about the hotels but they were great and the students had the best time.

EF really outdid themselves on this trip. From the hotels to the food to the activities, everything was thoughtfully planned and flowed seamlessly. Every detail contributed to such a smooth and enjoyable experience. And my tour director? Absolutely the best—hands down the best TD ever.

both my daughters went on ef tours during senior year, (oldest went to italy/greece in 2019, youngest to costa rica/panama in 2026) and had an amazing time! the website made everything easy to get everything in order, wish they had this when i was in high school!
I recently traveled with EF Tours, and overall, my experience was very positive. The itinerary was well-organized, and the trip itself was enjoyable. Our tour guide was a standout—knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone had a good experience. He listened to concerns, was responsive to the group’s needs, and remained flexible and accommodating throughout the trip, which made a big difference. There were a couple of areas that could use improvement. At the first hotel, there were issues with room assignments, specifically not having enough beds for everyone. That created some unnecessary stress at the start of the trip. Additionally, the meals provided were underwhelming. While I didn’t mind buffet-style dining, the quality of the food at many locations ranged from mediocre to poor. This was one of the more disappointing aspects of the experience. Overall, I would still recommend EF Tours for the structure, convenience, and quality of their guides, but I hope they take steps to improve their meal selections and ensure better coordination with hotel accommodations.
