Awesome memories and fun packed days that were enjoyed.

If something goes wrong, the process to make it right is slow. You will miss out on portions of your tour and then have to go through a long and confusing insurance process to get compensated. With airlines the way they are currently, I would hesitate to participate in this type of tour again. The potential for a mishap during your flight is very high. If you miss your connection it will take several days to get rebooked. Having said that, if things were guaranteed to go well, it would have been a good experience. Our tour guide was fantastic, hotels were clean and comfortable, food was good.

You waited till the last two months and added $600 to my daughter’s account which raised my biweekly payment to something I could not afford! I told you I couldn’t do it and you don’t care you did whatever you needed to do. In the future, you need to make sure a child is not going to be staying with another child that they would be with a parent and in the future, this needs to be added to the account in the beginning! When you added this raise my payment to $70 biweekly, I could not afford it. I struggled. And when I called to complain, you didn’t care! Then my daughter and husband and 38 other people were stuck at the airport for 48 hours and it appears that the tour guide or anybody did not do anything to try to get these people out of the airport! For $5300 you could’ve done a lot better! Now I have to work on getting a refund for the two days that she missed!

We couldn’t have had a better experience. I felt like we were in very good hands.

Hotels were out of the way requiring a minimum of two hours additional travel time each day. Scotland was just Edenbourgh, however it was a great experience. England had a lot of waisted time.. a full day at Oxford is not needed, as too much time is spent at Hathaway Cottage and Shakespeare's birthplace. More time needed in LONDON and Salisbury. London is just a drive-by tour; you do not get to enter any of the historical sites, you "see" them. Tower Bridge was omitted, and we had to ask to stop and get off the buses at Big Ben, Westminster, and St Paul's. York, Warwick, and Windsor are well worth the time; however, the theatre was a waste of time in London, as we could have seen the show at home. British Airways flights were nice, but we waisted three+ hours by not flying directly to Edenbough. Local tour guides were all wonderful. Food and accommodations are lacking; students are expected to sleep 4 per room, using cots, fold-out sofa beds, and not actual beds, which is ridiculous, considering they each paid $5,000 for the trip. Adult chaperones travel for free and have single rooms at the expense of the students. Dinners could be improved; they should have featured traditional British options, rather than Thai or Italian, which is something we could also get at home.

Wonderful excursions and activities. Loved having time to explore the cities of Edinburgh, Yorkshire, Warwickshire, Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford, Windsor and London. Most hotels were decent, the best being the Hampton by Hilton (GREAT food, staff, and rooms....although in a sketchy area). WORST hotel, the IBIS Heathrow (outdated, dirty, small rooms, no working "air-cons" and we were there during a heatwave; however, accommodating staff who provided all of our rooms with fans and good breakfast; close to the airport for departure: 2/10 overall). Some pre-planned meals provided by EF Tour were inadequate (one actually looked like vomit and hardly any students ate it causing us to seek out meals upon return to our hotel), others were really good (traditional Fish and Chips, and some good chicken meals). Luckily, we had a 24 hour McDonald's within walking distance of our bad meal! The EF Tour Director and our bus driver were EXCEPTIONAL!!! Would recommend, however I would include the EF Educational Tours new "Neighborhood Plan" into 2026 trips to Europe, this allows you a choice of hotels and 3 food options. Overall an 8/10 experience. :o)

The company needs better communication with the main tour guide and more structured free time, providing time to explore museums/major landmarks outside of the bus.

Loved our Tour Director, Neil. Safe & enjoyable tour. Would like to have had more Tour guides and information at the different sites. Disappointed the London “tour” was a bus tour and never got inside Westminster Abbey, etc. Breakfast the first 2 days had no protein. Toast & jam is not breakfast. Dinners were good but basically the same roast chicken multiple times. Hotels were good, but staying in Melrose was too far a trip back into Edinburgh. Overall enjoyable trip, thanks to Neil.

This tour was incredible, Our guide, Emma, worked constantly to make sure this was the best possible experience. Our days were full of experiences and the food was local and fabulous. My daughter and I have signed up for our school’s next tour to Greece and Italy!
