Everything on tour was wonderful, aside from one poor quality restaurant and the poorly planned connection cushion between London and Scotland. This ended in missing the first day of tour and caused missing bags. Absolutely amazing tour director and well planned days! Local guides were very knowledgeable and catered well to middle schoolers obsessed with the Harry Potter franchise. The days afforded adults to have some downtime, which was an unexpected boon!
Great trip our son had a fun time and was awesome to let him get to see the world and have a bit of independence! Only thing I would change is the time planned for connections and ability to meet child at end for additional family travel more easily.
Overall ok, main problems included kids being forced sleep in beds together and 8 hour delay because enough time was not planned for the plane transfer in London to Scotland.

While sharing beds is a common practice in some accommodations, we understand that individual preferences may differ. We do offer room upgrade options for an additional fee for travelers who prefer more space and privacy.
Regarding the delay in the plane transfer, we regret any disruptions it caused to your itinerary. Flight schedules are subject to the airlines' operations, and while we strive to plan for smooth connections, unforeseen circumstances can sometimes occur.

Fantastic trip with many sights and experiences packed into 10 days.
My child enjoyed all of the historical sites. It was a great experience for her! She would visit the sites as part of a large group then have an opportunity to split off into a smaller group and continue exploring the area. This was something she really wanted to do!!
My son had a great experience on his EF tour.
My son had such a great time, he actually wants to study in England!

Our tour director, Gail was absolutely fantastic, money well spent!
We enjoyed so much about the trip! We were bummed that we had a reservation for Hathaway's Cottage, but it was closed for the winter when we got there, so I'm not sure who dropped the ball there. Otherwise, it was a successful first tour for me as group leader!

What's not to love? England, especially London, was the cleanest city I've ever visited. Just stunning! The beauty, diversity, parks, sights...all absolutely gorgeous. Scotland, although chilly, is take your breath away beautiful! Would go again in a heartbeat. Thanks EF!
Overall experience was exceptional- planning of event was top notch, great tour/ excursion recommendations, fun and safe for my child, and cost effective!
My son had a life changing experience on his trip to England and Scotland. Everything went smoothly and he had the best time. He now has a passion for travel and adventure. We're so happy that we sent him on this trip!
Our tour director was AMAZING. However, the company left her to be the one to tell us our excursions were canceled due to lack of numbers. The company should have told us before we left home. She went above and beyond to get us our excursions - on our own! There were items advertised on our itinerary that we did not experience. The group we were matched with arrived a full 36+ hours before us - they got way more out of the trip than us. Due to COVID we had some students that had to back out. Even with the trip insurance, they received NO REFUND. The company has shown me they don’t care about student travelers - they care about their money.
