Horrible company
Good, nice. There were a few things I did not like which I already explained.
The places we visited were amazing. The mix of small towns and big cities, helped make this a great experience. There was so much to learn over the 15 days. There are some travel days between cities, but the day was broken up with stops in small towns. Going from cold and rainy London to the beaches of France was an experience, my son and I will never forget.
Wonderful experience!!
It was an amazing well coordinate trip.
Super exciting and fun!
Very well organized and planned. Enjoyed all the planned stops and selected restaurants. Hotel choices were good and transportation was great. This is my first trip abroad and I would highly recommend EF for anyone wanting this type of experience.
I highly recommend this company! My teen daughter's Europe trip was amazing. She loved all the stops. Everything was safe, fun, and highly organized! Her tour guide was with her group through 3 countries. I would use EF tours again!
Experience of a lifetime for my daughter!!
Such a perfect balance of amazing cities, charming towns brimming with culture, and beautiful countryside.
A wonderful trip, however, was very rushed thru some of the most important sites. For example, was only allowed 5 minutes at the Eiffel Tower & 10 min at the Arc de Triomphe to snap a quick photo before going back on bus. The Paris local guide was rude & talked politics. Paid extra for Winsor Castle guided tour, was rushed thru chapel & did see the changing of the guard, but then was only given 20 min to try to see the rest of the castle on our own, with no guide. Did not see the statehouses or Queen's dollhouse, as advertised. Tour guide had us meet outside the grounds where we were not allowed access to go back in, then gave us 1.5 hours to eat & go shopping, when we could have spent the time seeing the rest of the castle. Students were allowed to go off alone in the cities of London & Paris with no adult present, and even left hotel grounds after dark with no adult accompanying them. Be prepared - very few public restrooms & many of those have no toilet seats & require payment to use. Most of the hotels were nice, but 1 motel was filthy-blood on the bathroom floor, allowed only 1 towel per person for 2 days stay, even when requesting another towel. One of the days we spent 8 hours on the bus from France to Barcelona, which seemed like a lot of extra travel. Guide didn't warn us at the Barcelona city beach that we had set up in the nude section of the beach; could have at least mentioned it so we could have set up in a more family-friendly area. Overall, we saw a lot of wonderful sites & had a great trip, but the negatives could have been avoided with better scheduling.
In my opinion we spent way to much time in France. My daughter and I would have loved spending a little more time in England and especially Spain!
It was a great first experience in Europe for my 15-year-old son. The staff member in charge was very good at informing us about what to do and what to expect. My son had some flexibility for what he could do. The tour guide was personable and made the experience memorable.
Over my expectations
This trip was amazing
The Best experience of life time
My daughter had the best time & felt safe the entire time!
My son loved this experience!!
This was my first experience as a group leader, and it was truly outstanding. From the beginning, EF's choice of airline—Air Canada—set a positive tone. Their staff provided excellent customer service across all four of our flights. Our tour director, Allan, was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, flexible, and engaging, building a strong rapport with the students. He responded to every question and request promptly and professionally. When one of our students accidentally left their passport at a hotel, Allan calmly explored multiple solutions to retrieve it, all while minimizing the impact on our itinerary. Behind the scenes, our tour consultant Danielle and tour specialists Meagan and Mariah were consistently helpful, responsive, and well-informed. Their support throughout the planning process was invaluable. We also had to contact the EF emergency line on two separate occasions during the tour, and in both instances, the support we received was efficient and reassuring. Overall, EF provided an outstanding travel experience for both myself and the students. I would gladly lead another tour with them in the future.
