The trip was not as expected. Low quality food and hotel services for the amount of money paid.

I went on the Epic Greece tour, which was 14 days long. Personally, I feel that the trip, in terms of scenery, was amazing. It was beautiful to be in a different country and experience its culture. Some excursions were more enjoyable than others, but that comes down a little bit to your personal interests, and the excursions themselves are out of our control as travelers. I will say that, for the cost of the trip, my biggest disappointment was the accommodations. It seemed as if, for the majority of the eight hotels we stayed in, EF chose the cheapest options available. Many of them were not realistically able to accommodate more than two people, yet we had more than two people in our rooms. One hotel did not have functioning air conditioning or a working television, and this was a hotel where we spent a good amount of time because we were winding down before traveling to the next destination. It was very uncomfortable to be in the room with nothing to do while dealing with the heat. Based on the hotels we stayed in, it felt like the least amount of money was spent on accommodations, which is disappointing considering the price of the trip. Most of the other issues I had revolved around food. First, only breakfast and dinner are provided. Some dinners are at the hotel, while others are at restaurants. I understand that these meals are included, but I think it would have been better if we had been given a party menu ahead of time so we could choose what we wanted before arriving, instead of everyone being served the same food that not everyone would enjoy. I bring this up because it often meant that people had to go out later and buy another dinner anyway. I also feel like we were a little blindsided by how much money we would actually end up spending. Having to pay for lunch every day, sometimes having to buy dinner, and then purchasing souvenirs or anything else you want for yourself adds up quickly on top of the amount already spent on the trip itself. When we had free time during lunch, this wasn't really an issue because we could choose where to eat. However, when our guide had already picked the restaurant for us, those places often seemed overpriced for the quality and portion sizes. Again, this ties back to the cost, because you feel somewhat forced to spend money on a lunch that you may not really want or enjoy. On a more positive note, I think the trip becomes much more enjoyable the more people you allow yourself to get to know. I was familiar with everyone on the trip beforehand, but I didn't really have relationships with them. After the trip, I can definitely say that I became much closer with the people I had the opportunity to travel the world with, and that was one of the best parts of the experience.

It was a great experience for our family. Our son had a trip that he will remember for a lifetime. He was so excited, and the excitement continued when he got home. The overall process of enrolling in the trip, paying for it, and preparing for it was so well handled by EF Tours and Mr. Macchia from the high school. It made the process very easy and gave me comfort knowing that my son was in good hands.

Overall great! There were a few times that we were dropped in an area to shop that was too far from the hotel to walk back- would have like the option to rest instead of more touristy shops.

Our guides made this experience an 11/10!! We had a relaxing time and learned so much! The Greek people were welcoming and accommodating to our large group! The beauty of Greece speaks for itself but the people made the experience unforgettable!

The trip itself was great. However EF scheduled a horrible flight plan. Set up a 9 hour layover before a 11 hour flight was tortuous. And then a 7 hour layover after a 12 hour return flight was just as bad. EF has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced
