Our son absolutely loved this trip. He’s leaders, teachers, & chaperones were phenomenal. It was a trip of a lifetime and he came home an inspired and joyful young man. Highly recommend this tour. Thank you!
Memorable
The trip was great as advertised but the hotel were not what was expected.
I had fun at every place we went too.
The experience of traveling to Rome itself was incredible—such a beautiful and historic city—but unfortunately, I would not choose to book another trip with EF Tours. Some of the scheduled activities felt unnecessary and could have been better spent allowing us time to explore Rome on our own. One of the biggest concerns was the lack of consideration shown by our tour guide. Upon arrival, after a long international flight with no rest, we were immediately taken on a walking tour. Despite everyone being visibly exhausted and requesting rest, the guide insisted on continuing the tour. It felt as though there was little empathy or understanding for our physical state. Additionally, the accommodations felt very low-budget. The hotels were not up to a comfortable standard, and the meals provided were disappointing. While I loved visiting Rome, the overall tour experience left a lot to be desired
Amazing, eye opening, Italy is an incredible place, filled with art, culture and beautiful places, and people.
My son had a great time
The reason for only 4 stars was some of our restaurant experiences were not great. A lot of the food was cold and we could tell it had been prepared well before we arrived. Also our last hotel was very rustic and not close to any nighttime activities. It would have been nice to at least be close to some restaurants and shops.
Our educational school trip was fantastic. Our host was knowledgeable about the area and provided many interesting insights as we travelled. She was able to keep us on schedule in a calm manner. We always felt that we were taken care of properly. She was also warm and inviting, making sure that in amongst our busy schedule, we took time to just take it all in - relax, have a gelato and breathe. The history, art, architecture, food, people and atmosphere were outstanding. I highly recommend this excursion!

This tour was a very enjoyable one for my group......we visited lots of amazing landmarks and learned a lot about Italy!!
My son went on the trip with his school and his experience was outstanding. The guide was excellent, and the programming was relevant, inclusive, and engaging. Would definitely use EF Educational tours again!!!
The history was palpable and significant. Hotels were good after first one which was elderly and wanting updating. The food was okay, and students tried most activities when weather wasn’t too hot. Kids grew.

It was super fun and our guide was excellent! Super knowledgeable guides throughout the tour and a great experience all around!
