My child got to experience so many wonderful new things. In a whole another continent. Glad to have made this trip possible for our child. He enjoyed the group, the teacher, and everyone that helped on his trip. It opens up our eyes and it also gives us the parents a opportunity to maybe go see what he got to see. The pictures he took were just fabulous. And also I felt connected with group at all times. Look forward to his next adventure with EF. We really appreciate all the organization to make life long lasting memories for out child that will come in to play when he travels as a adult one day.

I really enjoyed the landmarks and the full itinerary. However, the other group that joined us threw parties with alcohol during our hotel nights and were very wild.
Spain was a culture shock but it was a good place to learn about how other countries live and work.
My son came back very happy and said this has been one of the best experiences so far :) definitely recommended!
Spain experience excellent! EF's customer service in booking flights VERY POOR. School/students/staff at mercy of what EF books...stuck with 30+ hours of travel on the way there because of a 10 HOUR layover in Chicago (just hours from MSP where they took off). You can do better...you knew the size of our group for 1.5 years. Feels like you were just trying to find the cheapest possible since you already had our $$.
Overall, very good trip. My 17 year old went with his Spanish class. It was a big group, about 50 people. They were never bored, and there was a good mix of activity and down time. The weather was great for most of the trip, so the free time in the different cities was not an issue. They were able to walk a lot of visit different shops and museums, etc. The accommodations were OK at best. The various types of excursions were good, and definitely forced my son to experience Spain and their cultures and customs. At first he didn't like the idea of going so far out of his comfort zone, but now appreciates the experiences that he had. By far the absolute worst part was the abhorrent flight times and layovers. We had to be at the airport at 330 am for a 530 am flight... but that flight was 1 1/2 hours away where they had a ten hour layover. This was just crazy to me. They left from Minneapolis, so not a little airport and traveled to Chicago. Their return trip had two layovers, which got them to Minneapolis at 1230 AM. In my opinion, that could definitely (and should have) been done better.
Overall a great trip with a horrible flight schedule.
Great experience. My kids don’t have to waste time thinking of what to do next because everything was well planned.
My son said this was the best trip he ever took. He had a memorable trip to Spain. Mercedes was a really nice and great tour director. Thank you!
this is the second trip with EF. My daughter is taken. The first was great. This trip could use a little revamping in regards to the hotels.

It was a great experience for my daughter. The cities visited, as well as all of the specific tours (museums, palace, etc) made the trip very memorable. Great experience.
Great experience for teens
Safe, fun, tour. Guide was helpful and nice. The kids had a great time and saw a lot of new things.
Experience Spain is incredible! While there isn't as much of the opportunity for personal growth, like on many EF tours, it is a ton of fun! Be sure to add a walking "scavenger hunt" of the gothic quarter and La Boqueria, since groups are not allowed in those areas. In your free time, do what we did: rent boats on the Estanque de Retiro...it's the best!
Enjoyed seeing all the different cities and points of interest. All of our guides were wonderful. There was not any downtime. The group meals were horrible. 60 people in a group was too many - half this would be more manageable.
The local guides were AWESOME!
This was a great tour! My only complain is the airplane connections. They were the worst that I have had with EF. Not enough time to connect. A group of 36 people running like hell (pardon my language) and praying that the plane and captain would wait for all of us!
Our daughter absolutely loved her experience to Spain. The trip was smooth and well thought out. It was a chance and experience of a life time.
I had an amazing time! Please go to Spain I promise you won't regret it!
