The tour was amazing. The activities planned were helpful for students going into a medical field and they were also fun.
My son really enjoyed the tour and all the activities. He said he wished there was more time spent in Scotland. But he liked the food, the tour guides were knowledgeable and he had fun with his peers. We did have issues with his special travels plans on the way there and back home so 3 stars mainly for that. The tour itself would give 4 stars.
Miserable, poorly planned for the events occurring and poor partners

Great trip for my daughter who absolutely loved it!
Excellent time.
The tour was well planned and very fun. For my students it was an unforgettable experience.
Highly disappointed that there was a 10 hour layover on day one. Other accommodations should have been made. A $15 meal voucher does not cut it. Travelers should have also been given meal options at dinner instead of a set dinner for each person. Overall a great learning experience!
I was surprised there were no healthcare related activities included in Paris, especially given the focus of the trip. This felt like a missed opportunity to provide meaningful, location specific learning. Additionally, the healthcare experience in London did not meet expectations. The nurse who spoke with the group, while an experienced NICU nurse, did not engage in a way that encouraged questions or provided clear, informative answers. As a result students did not get the level of interaction or insight that was anticipated. For future trips, I recommend incorporating more interactive opportunities, such as a panel of healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, specialists) where students can ask questions and receive engaging responses. Unfortunately, it felt like more students left the trip less interested in the medical field than when they started, which is concerning for a program intended to inspire and educate.
So much rich history that we didn't know was embedded in Edinburg and London especially. As a parent I even learned. The experiences of seeing a Broadway show, eating in amazing restaurants with local cuisine, knowledgeable tour guides in all three cities. We had a blast. It was equal parts education, leisure time, and experiences each location as well. Our Tour Director, Kelly Jamieson was FANTASTIC!! Knowledgeable of each city, she gave tips on how to maximize our free time, and suggested her favorite eating spots. We actually hung out with her in the free times and had a blast with her. She will be a lifetime friend now. If we go on another EF tour we will be asking for her, without a doubt. Even when our ride was 1.5 hours late to get us to the airport to leave, she dealt with the situation in a professional manor and made calls to everyone she could think of to be sure we didn't miss our flight home; and we didn't. Loved it so much. I would recommend this trip to anyone interested in the medical field, or even to those just wanting to go along with their child. The quality time I was able to have with my youngest was so worth it and EF did not disappoint!
Negative comment walking, hotel, guide, food option for students.
This was such an amazing trip. Our tour director Kelly was the best ever! We also had excellent local guides in Edinburgh (Sheila) and London (Berwyn and Keith) for the Royal college of medicine and Jack the Ripper tours. We got to see Wicked at the Victoria Apollo theater too! We really packed a lot into the week.
Wonderful 11days in Scotland, London and Paris with EF!
