The tour guide and naturalists made the trip, for sure. They went above and beyond and were exceptional. The VERY early morning flights and long layovers detracted from the experience.

Great trip! Students and adults had an amazing time in both the Galapagos and the Quito area. Great tour director and local guides throughout! We couldn't ask for anything more!
The history... the culture... the mountains... the ocean... the beaches... the animals... and standing on the equator... WOW! The best part - our local tour guides, Miriam in Quito and Edi in the Galapagos - were outstanding. Their knowledge and passion for the region made me fall in love!
This itinerary was amazing! I am so glad I booked this tour as it added an extra day on the islands, which happened to be the group's favorite part of the trip!

This was hands down a favorite trip. There was so much packed in to one tour and there was something new everyday. Galapagos is a treasure that everyone needs to experience at least once in their lives. EF goes above and beyond to find hotels that meet quality standards and foods that students are willing to eat. You will never go hungry on tour! This tour was great because you spent a decent amount of time in Quito and learned about the city while also spending a good amount of time in the Galapagos. The students always felt safe and the towns we stayed in were wonderful for letting students explore on their own without feeling too overwhelmed. Do this trip!

We had Ivan as a tour guide and he was great! He was very informative, knew what he was doing, and even was able to pull a few strings to get us our own boat rides and an extra hotel for the last night!
