Beautiful city filled with history, culture, art, and sports. So many incredible places to experience. the day trips to Toledo, and El Escorial and Segovia are not to be missed!
His stay at the hotel was very disappointing. He slept on the floor on a crib mattress. I'm pretty sure I paid enough for a bed on the this trip.
Horrible all around. After a 2 day trip delay, one of which was spent at the airport, EF finally communicated with families just to say that basically, they would do nothing about fixing the situation and that it was up to the airline to put us on a flight and up to the insurance to approve our claim for reimbursement. The poor teacher/chaperone was left to deal with everything on his own even though he had no hand in any of the flight, hotel, or excursions arrangements. Our kids not only lost time and money…they missed an entire experience. Both trying to get to Spain and returning from it was a nightmare! My child is severely emotionally damaged from this experience…what a tough life lesson to learn about the ugly side of business. Once they got them going, they spent over a day in traveling just to spend two full days in Spain and send them back home. As for reimbursements, EF wipes their hand of helping us do that and the insurance company is a joke! No one ever answers or calls back despite numerous calls!!

We apologize for the difficulties you experienced while getting to and from the tour. We encourage group leaders to work directly with airlines as they are with the group and can make decisions promptly. We are given the same options as the Group Leader and would be communicating the information to the group, which is why we encourage the group to advocate for their new routes directly. Rebooking large groups on flights last minute, especially in instances of delays or cancellations, is challenging and can take some time and we are sorry it cause the travelers to miss days on tour. Regarding insurance, we are happy to assist you in filing a claim. We're sorry to hear about the impact this situation had on your child and the overall experience. Your feedback is important to us, and we will use it to improve our processes.
Beautiful city
It was an excellent trip that was well-planned and personalized. Mercedes was amazing. She is friendly and accommodating. We were able to experience flamenco dance lessons and a show, explore museums and cathedrals, and enjoy zip lining and churros and chocolate. We even had free time in the park. We were exposed to varied Spanish food choices. The specialized tour guides were wonderful. Our Toledo tour guide was fabulous! The only part I would change is having more time to explore the Prado. It was a wonderful museum but we were with a tour guide so we were limited in what pieces we saw. I would have loved an extra hour or two there. I definitely recommend this tour.

The accommodations were good
This tour was so involved we were never bored. We stayed in the moment everywhere we visited. This trip was hands down one of my favorites for students. I will definitely keep this tour in my rotation! Thank you!
