A fun filled week. The best tour guides. They were fun and funny! Enough down time to relax and enjoy the experiences but not too much down time.
Our son loves the trip. The guides were great.
We had a wonderful experience learning about the culture, flora and fauna, and history of Panama! If you're gluten-free, it's tough to choose meals. We were often given 2 choices for dinner and both were pasta. Our hotel was local and nice with a pool I heard some tours stay at Holiday Inn Express and I'm happy we had a more local experience.

Tour guides were amazing, the country is really beautiful and although it was hot and humid, this place is so nice that the weather is no problem. Loved every minute of it. The locals are friendly and don't make you feel out of place. They embrace you and invite you into their culture and lifestyle with open arms. I wish the tour never ended and I definitely will revisit when I get the chance.

The most disorganized, last minute, tour company I’ve ever seen. Kids had a great time. But the lead up and the actual flights were a dumpster fire. They hold you hostage by not telling you when you’ll actually travel, just a date range. Then when they give you close to specifics, it’s wrong and it’s outside of the date range they gave. Then when you question their process, the regional manager responds with, “well, this date was in the original presentation”, which was over a year prior. When someone gives updated info, that’s supposed to be the most accurate. Not something from 14 months prior. EF Tours cares less about your kids and more about increasing profit margins by negotiating the best airfare with the airlines by waiting until the last minute to book anything. This assures the group doesn’t sit together and everyone has a middle seat next to strangers. 👍

The trip itself and all daily program, itinerary was very thoughtfully planned. Kids enjoyed all activities and food. The only minus was flight selection - instead of direct flight,, company chose flight with long stopover and in addition, group experienced extra delays.
Very well organized tour. The kids had a great time and can’t wait till their next trip!
EF has an incredible itinerary set up in Panama. Students have a chance to see a lot of the country, practice their Spanish and have their eyes open to history and culture.
Thank you for this amazing experience. No way could I planned such an amazing trip packed full of adventure, educational experiences, and full immersion! My son now wants to move to Panama! :)
Awesome experience! Learned so much about the culture and history of Panama.
Amazing!!!
Amazing experience! Really enjoyed my time in Panamá!
Life changing.
Panama was amazing. Our trip was better than I imagined largely due to our guide, Abdiel. He was very passionate about his country. We learned so much. Carlos, our driver, kept us safe in our big bus. We loved our trip and we were travelers, not tourists. Loved the excursion to see the Emberra Tribe, snorkeling in the Caribbean side, and learning to dance with the children in Anton Valley.
My middle schooler just returned from an amazing experience. Like most middle schoolers, she is difficult to impress. But from the first day, I was getting messages on how "awesome" and "amazing" what they did that day was - words not often uttered. They saw so much and learned so much. Every day was jammed packed! She said the tour guide and bus driver were amazing. She came back more confident, mature, and happy! She can't wait to go on another trip!
My kids and I really enjoyed the From Pirates to the Present EF Tour in Panama. Overall, I thought the majority of the activities were excellent including the tour of Panama city and the biodiversity museum on Day 1. The tour of the pineapple farm on Day 2 was super fun, especially since they let us try all kinds of different fruits from Panama and the farm offered a wonderful lunch. I also thought that having the group teach the kids hw to do some of the Panamanian dances was outstanding and a very different experience for them. Day 3 included a nature hike and then way too much down time at the hotel (almost 3 hours) before we headed out for the boat trip on the canal. There was also too much down time on Day 4 and I felt like more time at the Panama canal would have been great. That was one of the things we were most looking forward to doing and we were only there for a couple of hours. In the future when working with student groups, I recommend adding at least one more beach day or half day and perhaps more museums such as the Punta Culebra Nature Center. The kids just had to much down time during the middle of the tour and taking them to a mall twice was something they could do in the United States.
