My experience in Peru with EF was unforgettable. From Machu Picchu to Lake Titicaca, Puno, and Lima, every place taught us something meaningful about Peru’s history, culture, and people. Our tour director, Sally, took wonderful care of my students. She reminded them to drink water, eat, stay together, and be prepared. After our challenging train experience at Machu Picchu, they trusted her, listened to her, and appreciated how she cared for them like a mom. I truly believe this trip changed my students’ lives. They asked many questions, connected with our guides, and learned lessons that could never be taught inside a classroom. Meeting hardworking local families and children helped them understand that sometimes we need to travel far from home to realize that life can be much more difficult for others and that, even so, they can still be happy and grateful. This journey had a very special meaning for me as a teacher and as someone originally from Peru. I am grateful to EF, Sally, and our local guides for giving my students such a safe, educational, and unforgettable experience.
Our tour with EF Tours far exceeded our expectations! Our tour guide was knowledge, friendly and engaging. The accommodations were comfortable. The food options were plentiful and delicious. I highly recommend taking a tour with EF Tours if you have the chance.

Wonderful trip- perfectly timed with an excellent Tour Director. Everything was top notch!
Excellent sites & tour director. Maybe allow 2 days in Cuzco instead of the temple inside cathedral tour (to allow for market shopping time town of Ollantaytambo & in Pisac & also more shopping before or after Machu Pichu hike). Also, instead of doing two hikes back to back on day 2 & day 3, space them a day apart with a lighter activity to allow for some down time (maybe in one of those two towns mentioned-market shops). Restaurants for lunch were also top notch & delicious, however, may have been a bit costly for student travelers. Lake Titicaca was really nice also (allow more time there), maybe a quieter tour with less talking by tour guide during the entire boat ride. Same with early morning rises & longer bus rides, less talking and allow everyone 30mins morning rest on bus then talk as we get closer to sites. Just some suggestions, but overall, great tour!

My son had the most amazing experience on his trip. I can't believe how much was packed in a week. I lived vicariously through his pictures and the videos his teachers posted. Peru is a beautiful country and my son loved every minute of his time there.
