This tour included an amazing array of cool activities and adventures. Our group leader and tour director both did a phenomenal job. My son loved it!

Our trip to Australia was amazing. The only issue we had was our first flight to Sydney was delayed for a day. EF was great about making sure we were taken care of during this time. I went on the trip with my son. When we arrived in Sydney our guides Sarah and Fernanda were there to greet us. We started our tour with a couple of amazing days in Sydney seeing all the sites. Then we flew up to Townsville where we spent a few days in the rain forest. Our guide took us hiking and was very knowledgeable. We saw the Platypus. After we met up with native Aboriginal who taught us about his culture. Then it was off to meet up with a Park Ranger who helped us find the Koala Bears. The next day we went snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef. Our group leader Jordan and EF guides Sarah and Fernanda did an awesome job to make sure we had a trip of a lifetime.
My son went to Australia with EF Tours and it was an amazing experience he will never forget. He experienced new cultures and customs and learned about the Conservation Efforts that Australia is making to conserve our nature and wildlife.
This was my son's first trip overseas. It was thr high school science teachers first EF Trip. The flights and connections were easy to get to. The information on packing for an Australian "winter" was helpful. The EF Tour Guide, Gina, was FABULOUS! Hidden Valley Cabins, Mungalla Station, AQUASCENE Snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef, and Townsville Museum of Tropics were the best excursions. The food choices were good too.
What a cool itinerary!!!! This is a “stem” tour, but truly anyone could enjoy it. We saw Sydney, and then headed off the beaten path to see the real bush! The sustainable living off the grid experience was so incredible. The students had a great time unplugging and interacting with nature. The Great Barrier Reef was amazing, and it was a true bucket list item to snorkel and learn all about it. Highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see Australia in depth.
This trip is very fun BUT I think the title is very misleading. We did not do any reef regeneration and only actually got to snorkel for about 20 minutes (super bummer). The snorkeling we did was an inland reef so it wasn’t even really the Great Barrier Reef in all its glory. The trip had too much time for shopping and had little focus on conservation. We did a 1 hour talk about the sustainability efforts of a local resort and did a behind the scenes tour on classifying coral, but that was really it. I’d rather see more activities that gear towards the trip name.
Sending my 15 year old daughter around the world was nerve-wracking but EFTours had everything under control! Allison was amazing and now she can’t wait for the next adventure!
As a group leader for more than 10 trips - this one was my favorite so far - excellent itinerary for the 16-17 year olds I took. Full of adventure, culture and fun!
All I can say is that it was an experience of a lifetime for my son. Snorkeling, surfing, museum, boat ride, and much more! Self independence, exploring, making new friends!

Our daughter had an amazing time. The fine line was met between them Growing and learning to be independent and their needs being tended to. It was a Phenomenal experience!'
It was an amazing experience learned many new things about the regions, the culture wildlife, and the people that live there.

Loved this STEM tour of Australia! Learned and experienced so much, enjoyed all the sites we visited and food/accommodation were great too. Highly recommend this tour both for learning and for cultural Australian experience. A wonderful trip abroad!
