My son had the time of his life and now has a memory to last him a lifetime
My son had the best time touring Italy. Great tour guides and bus driver. Everything seemed to go smoothly.
Very good
We loved almost the whole experience. Our tour guides were amazing and we always felt safe. It really inspired us to want to see even more of the world. The only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 was the trip home. We were flying Air Canada and were informed the night before our flight that it would be significantly delayed. This caused us to miss our connecting flight home, also on Air Canada. I felt that EF could’ve been more proactive in securing us lodging or another flight that night with the advance notice they had. Spending hours in an airport with exhausted travelers is not the best way to end a trip.
It was an amazing experience! Only caveat - we were not really anywhere near Sorrento - I know it's hard to get to with the big bus, but we were nearly an hour outside in a place that was pretty remote. Hotel was nice, but not able to get out in the evening and enjoy the area.

Each stop on the tour was fantastic! The guides, the food, the sites/views - all perfection!!!!
best service and great experience
The experience was very well received in part due to great planning via EF Tour, opportunity for enlightening on a new/different culture and the guide (Fabio) was outstanding!
My son had a phenomenal time and I was extremely pleased with safety procedures.
My daughter really enjoyed the trip, with the exception of the food. It's a shame that the kids were in Italy and yet had such poor dinner arrangements. We notified EF in advance that she's vegetarian, but the dinners offered included chicken and a scrambled egg. Most evenings she ended up eating the snacks she'd packed in her luggage. Otherwise the itinerary was excellent and she would love to return some day.
Horrendous
The trip itself was great but the food was terrible each evening. My daughter is a vegetarian and made sure that was clear prior to leaving as well as in each restaurant. She was offered a cold, unseasoned scrambled egg and cold cooked carrots one night and a slice of tomato with a slice of mozzarella cheese on another night. Otherwise she enjoyed her trip - loved Sorrento and Capri and wants to return there for a family vacation.
The food options were terrible. My son came home asking for fresh pasta because it was the one thing he really wanted when there and was never able to get. The only GOOD meal was the pizza my son baked.
