We LOVED London! There was a good variety of engaging STEM activities mixed in with self-guided tours and museums. An officer from a murder squad led us in a forensic activity where we had to solve a murder, we did code breaking at Bletchley Park, and moved heavy bales of hay with simple machines to better understand the challenges of moving large stones, like those at Stonehenge over large distances. We also visited famous London locations, rode the London Eye, saw the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, heard Big Ben in the Elizabeth Tower, and many more wonderful experiences. I highly recommend the trip.

Our grandson loved it all-- the musical, the museums, the sites, and the people.
Great experience would definitely do it again.
Great tour guide (Robbie) but terrible customer service.
Lots of experiences and information. Enjoyable overall!
It was great! The sights were amazing but I wish the tour guide was more acquainted with everything so we'd spend less time getting there and more time exploring.
My son had a wonderful time. The programs were great and the overall experience was awesome. Teachers were amazing as well!
good experience in London overall
I have the dual role as both a mom whose son went on the EF STEM Tour to London and as someone who also went on the trip with them. From both perspectives, this experience was amazing. It was a fast-paced, intense tour that was perfectly geared to its target audience -- high schoolers. Our hotel was phenomenal and in a fantastic location, right next to shopping and to a Tube station. The food selections were, on the whole, good, with decent variety. Preordering dinners for the full group was really the best way to make everything move quickly. Our embedded tour director, Robbie Szabo, developed incredible rapport with the students and kept us all on time and on task. He was so knowledgeable and helpful -- I cannot say enough good things about him! The video he recorded for our group was a really nice touch that allowed us to share more of our experience with family and friends once we returned home. From my son's perspective, he had an amazing time. He loved the hotel and its location. He said that even the educational activities (Forensic Workshop, Stonehenge building activity, etc.) felt like they were part of the tour, rather than just educational activities. One thing we both agreed on was the segment at the National Museum of Computing was pretty boring and too long, and it cut short our exploration at Bletchley Park. He definitely would have preferred to have the option to spend more time on the WWII history there. Since they're on the same grounds, students should be given the chance to choose their preferred learning experience at that particular site. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour for any high schooler mature enough to participate. As long as your child will follow directions and obey group rules, they can have an amazing experience, too. London feels very safe, and navigating the Underground was pretty easy to pick up, so they're unlikely to get too lost. This was a wonderful experience for my son and me, and I'm grateful I am able to share these memories with him.
London was such a great trip for my daughter. She came back filled with exciting stories and new experiences that will give her fond memories to last a lifetime. The trip leaders managed the logistics and travel seamlessly and my daughter felt safe every step of the way. I would highly recommend traveling with EF Educational Tours in the future.
Amazing STEM-focused tour that helped our group grow in confidence, resilience, and global awareness!
Great time
I would absolutely recommend EF tours for your child's educational trips!
Expensive, added on fees for tips, no airline miles, not enough free time, too many planned events

Great experience for my son. Loved the direct flight. He came back super excited for travel.
Very organized, felt very safe and comfortable. Hotel choice was very nice, breakfast was delicious. The days were very busy, fun filled with lots of activities planned. Even when we had a flight delay, EF Tours and their global protection plan acted very quickly to get us travelors back home safely and with little delay.
EF offered a great STEM experience for our students in London!

We would send our kids on another EF Tour in a heartbeat and hope there are more offerings at our school next year! Cannot say enough good things but will offer a few specifics: (1) Our girls went on a STEM tour of London. The day of their return home, Heathrow airport shut down. Parents on the East Coast woke up to chaos, panicking about how to help their “stranded” children. By the time our racing hearts started to stabilize, EF had planned out the entire logistics of the rest of their stay: hotel rooms, activities for a few extra “bonus days”, and return flights for 30 people (all at no extra cost to us). This rapid execution demonstrates EF’s experience and thorough contingency planning, while making guest comfort a priority. (2) Their tour leader, Ollie, was a hit. The kids on the tour really liked him, and in an wonderful example of class and commitment, Ollie went above and beyond by staying with the group during their extra “bonus days” in London, instead of rotating them to a new tour leader. (3) The hotel was beautiful and surpassed all of our expectations. In addition, there were no hiccups with transportation or events that we heard of. (4) The activities were outstanding – very interesting and interactive, with a good amount of unscheduled time for sleep and chit chat and exploring.
This Computer Science, Cybersecurity, and STEM-focused tour abroad is something that - as an educator - I wish ALL students interested in these subjects could experience at least once in their lifetime. This was my 3rd Tour with EF Tours and 2nd time offering STEM: Discovery London. As a full-time high school cybersecurity teacher, I look for real-world connections that are also hands-on for the content I teach all the time. It can often be hard to give students a chance to do something that is not just on the computer using a program, app, or website to do that day's activity. What EF is providing for students with this specific tour is a truly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to engage with STEM, Forensics, and Computer Science in a truly memorable way. Our Tour Director (Katie M.) was astounding! This is the second time I have had her and could not be more grateful for the time and effort she puts into her tours to make sure we get to everything that is expected and promised on our itinerary as much as possible. I can honestly say that so far 100% of my travelers (from both times) have told me that they had a great time, are thankful that I offered this tour, and are glad they came with us on our trip.
We had a jampacked adventure! Navigating the subway (tube), cruising on the River Thames, we peaked at the Crown Jewels, learned about the magnificence of Stonehenge, took to the sky on the London Eye and walked across iconic bridges with amazing backdrops and unimaginable views. We learned history and culture and tons of STEM. It was a comfortable learning experience that had a pace that was fast, but manageable, in a safe, but new environment for our students! It left every student, wanting to travel abroad again!
