My middle school daughter attended a tour this summer and we are lucky she is home and safe. Her middle school group was paired up with rising seniors in high school and rising freshman in college from other schools. Why the tour thought pairing these ages together makes no sense to me. Free time to wander the cities on their own was up to 6 hours a day, night time curfews were not enforced, swimming was encouraged even though we signed a waiver saying we understood there would be no swimming. Since the drinking age is lower in Europe, many of the older kids in her group consumed a lot of alcohol and made very poor choices after doing so. She was witness to all of this. Sparing details here - just felt compelled to share.

This tour was well planned and gave us a great taste of Europe. Our tour guide, Octavian really knocked it out of the ball park, he was organized, gave us great info about the countries we visited, and made the experience really fun. Each day was full of exciting excursions, plenty of time to explore on our own, and great food experiences.I would highly recommend!!

This tour gave travelers a great taste of the Swiss Alps and the Mediterranean Coast. Like most tours it’s fast paced. However, since this tour covers a lot of area, there was a lot of travel/bus time. There were optional excursions that our TD suggested that broke up the drive time and made the travel time seem minute. I would 100% recommend this trip!

The good: My daughter loved the areas she traveled to. The locations were beautiful and full of history. The tour guide was extremely fun and knowledgeable. The bus driver was great as well. The folk night in Switzerland was amazing and the travelers enjoyed themselves. The bad: The dinner foods offered were only good in Switzerland and the second day of the tour in Italy. Otherwise, it was super bland and not a good representation of the countries they were visiting. Also, the hotel accomodations in France and Spain were chaotic. All the girls in my daughters group had to check out of their rooms due to the hotel being overbooked and walked 7 minutes to a new hotel. When they were in Spain, the hotel mixed up the groups and my daughter was paired with travelers from another group for a two nights stay-not a big deal just not ideal. The hotel outside of Barcelona was not properly maintained. On arrival the AC didn't work, the patio door didn't lock (they were on the first floor, street side) the room was filthy (spiderwebs, insects, broken items). The hotel was loud in general making it difficult for the travelers to get a good rest.

My students and I had an unbelievable experience on this tour! Being able to travel without the hassle of having to plan every detail and just enjoy the experiences as they come is truly special and we enjoyed it immensely. Although not everything was perfect, namely some of the food was interesting and the AC wasn't always great, we took those moments to appreciate what we have back at home. I loved taking my students on this tour and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get out of their comfort zone and explore different parts of the world!

The places we visited on this tour were amazing and breathtaking. We also had a great tour director. My only complaint was there was way too much free time Of the 8 days "touring" we had only 2 guided tours. Did get brief walks and points of interest pointed out by our director each stop but would love to see some more "education" on the EF tour. Maybe even an admission into a museum or historical point of interest to freely wander rather than just shopping/free time.
