Overall the experience was great. This may be on us, but we understood the Panama Canal portion to include a tour of canal with an engineer, which our aspiring civil engineer was excited about. However, I gather it was only a tour of the canal itself on a boat. Still interesting! EF also takes GREAT CARE of travelers. They were AWESOME in accommodating our last minute passport issues and getting our son where he needed to be. 5 stars for this alone!

All the guides and activities were great. They were designed to be fun and interactive while still teaching us new things.
My son absolutely loved the trip! Half of the travelers did get sick from food preparation and the water in Panama, so be prepared. Other than that, he had the time of his life and wants to go back. He loved the people he met, the experiences he had, and the tour guide was amazing! Definitely recommend.

My son had fun!
Excellent experience. The tour guide was wonderful with middle schoolers and really had a wealth of knowledge about Panama and its surroundings.
Our experience was informative and hands-on, making we chaperones wishing for more service work for our group! We just nipped the surface. What else could we do for the wetlands and waterways of Panama?

STEM & Fun
My child had an incredible time in Panama! She learned about the natural habitat, local culture and made friends along the way. She wants to go back already!
The activities were very fun and the tour guide was great and the schedule was very nicely organized. The food options could've been better.
We had a great time on all of the excursions.
