no longer the good service it used to be

I agree with other reviewers - eHosting used to be a great little company, very responsive and good service. Since M247 have taken them over, service & customer service have gone rapidly downhill. I would give them no stars it were possible

A great provider ruined

Having been an eHosting customer for some 15 years, I can confidently say their service has plummeted to frankly insulting. eHosting went from superb to mediocre after their acquisition by M247 in 2015, but lately their interest in customer support has completely evaporated. I've waited weeks for e-mail responses only to be given inaccurate or useless information, unprompted action taken by them has resulted in website downtime on 2 seperate occassions, they dont return calls or respond to messages, the support hold queues are 20 minutes long...

I have used ehosting for around eight…

I have used ehosting for around eight years and have a number of websites hosted with them.

Customer support is always good with prompt responses via email or phone as required. Their technical support team are competent and get the job done.

Ehosting have excellent prices that are amongst the best in the industry. Occasionally, the performance of their systems may seem a little slow but this is usually only for brief periods of time before the system resumes at full speed. The quality of their core service is better than most low cost internet providers.

Ehosting Support

Ehosting Support just exceeded my expectations by installing our new SSL certificate free of charge (and very quickly). Tech support is generally very helpful, but today Waqar went above and beyond.

Totally Unreliable

Pleasant people to deal with and very fast to answer enquiries, but I'm afraid they suffer from a lot of problems, so the consistency of their actual product is poor. Lots of disruption and lots of downtime. I am not talking seconds or minutes here - we have lost our website for hours at a time and on two occasions this year, we lost it for nearly a day each time. Just think how much potential revenue that could lose any organisation running an on line checkout through E Hosting.

The incredible thing is that when this happens, E Hosting offers no apology, or compensation and often attempts to fob us off by saying it's a 'problem at our end'. If that is the case, then how come their own website is down for the duration of these problems?

I think the bottom line is that E Hosting runs a relatively budget operation and is therefore very vulnerable to DOS attacks that knock their whole operation out for long periods of time. They need to sort this, before they lose all their customers. Until they do, they are a nightmare host and I would avoid them at all costs.
