Very good customer service

Richard was very quick in answering my phone call to resolve an issue with my order. He very quickly got to the bottom of the issue and resolved it quickly and efficiently. Very good Customer service experience

Worst service I have ever received!

Worst service I have ever received!! I made an order on the 4th Dec, leaving plenty of time before Christmas. I’m still waiting. I’ve tried contacting via every possible way, have wasted hours and hours of my time and still have no idea where my order is as I just can’t get through to anyone. I feel so let down and frustrated! I will never use them again and advise anyone else to avoid at all costs!

Terrible/absent customer service

I’ve no idea where my order is and nobody answers the phones or responds to chat. Is there anyone there?? The most awful customer service I’ve encountered in a very long time

Thanks to waste services …

My recycling boxes were missed on the Dunbar high street this morning. I rang the waste services and got a very helpful lady who sorted it out for me. A nice young man turned up at the door, explained what he was going to do, took my boxes away in his van and returned them a wee bit later emptied. Thank you to
You both.

Reviews are screened

I haven't had to deal with their customer service, but I got my 7 month old daughter a toy for Christmas and wrote a public review addressing some of the design faults (splintering wood, areas of the toy that were not filed down at all, dangerously sized pieces easily detached) and they never posted this review. It had no inappropriate language. They are selective about what reviews are published on toys, even when the toy has genuine and dangerous faults which may make them inappropriate for certain ages. They screen all the reviews submitted and decide what they want to be public.

Absolutely dreadful

Absolutely dreadful.
I have emailed them four times now and not received a response regarding the order I would like to cancel.
Avoid at all costs. They take your money and that’s about it.

Excellent customer service

I purchased a farm set for my godson for Christmas but only managed to get it to him last week due to Covid restrictions. It ended up being faulty, so we contacted customer services who sent a new set out immediately and is due to arrive 2 days after first making contact. Thank you to Lydia from Customer Services.

Shocking customer service

Shocking customer service! I will not be ordering from here again. I used to think ELC were a reputable brand.

I received my order - one item was incorrect and part of the other item was damaged. The damage was a manufacturing issue, not something that happened during transit.

I sent them an email by reply to my order confirmation and through their contact form on their website. No reply after 4 days.

Contacted them by DM on Twitter. No reply.

Contacted them again by DM. No reply.

Left a post on Facebook and on Twitter. No reply - though they were answering other comments placed after mine.

After 4 days of being ignored I finally got through to someone on Live Chat and it was like pulling teeth trying to get it resolved.

This was a birthday gift that I now haven’t been able to give and they don’t care. Not even an apology for the mistake with the wrong item or the damage to the other item.

Terrible customer service

Rarely do i write a bad review. But my father bought my daughter a toymade by ELC for Christmas. Before he had even given it to her he had a safety recall on it. And then to add to it on Christmas day we opened it to find the wooden bus had 2 wheels instead of 4. I contacted them with the order number which they requested, all I wanted was to be sent the replacement wheels which I sent a photo of with box. Only to be told they couldn't discuss it any further due to gdpr and my name not being the one who purchased it. I didn't want to discuss the order I just wanted the gift to be fixed. And as someone with 3 children under the age of four, I can tell you we have a LOT of toys and have never experienced such useless customer service.

Honestly if I could give zero stars I…

Honestly if I could give zero stars I would. Faulty toy, with a known issue which had been experienced by lots of customers, yet a customer service who were completely obstructive and unwilling to help. Disgusting behaviour from a brand who are meant to care about children.

Selling faulty items that are not fit for purpose

We were given a toy that needed to be constructed from flat pack. One part was discoloured and one part was missing the holes that should have been drilled to construct the toy. In trying to fix the poor quality part the part broke. ELC have refused to help at all and have claimed we broke a warranty.

I have never written a bad review…

I have never written a bad review before but this needs to be addressed, three times I have ordered, the first order was lost so I went through my bank and got a refund the second time I ordered one of the items were broken however I had to get it out to put batteries in so I guess I can't send it back, the third time half my order was lost the only reason for 2* is because the lady on the phone was lovely and is sending the lost items out again. Hopefully I recieve it and I will not order from here again.
