Bought an item from this shop.....had extremely poor customer service , item was old and not worth the money we paid for it!
Avoid this store

While Eledon Electricals might offer good prices, the after sales service is awful. We purchased an LG Washer/Dryer from this company which broke down needed to be replaced within 2 years. The second replacement unit then broke down from the same fault just over 2 years old and both LG and Eldon refused to help. Since then, Eldon Electricals have ignored my calls and emails and refused to offer any assistance. Don't buy from this company, use someone like AO instead. Alternatively make sure you use your Credit Card for the extra protection.....

I ordered a Beko fridge freezer from Eldon as they were the only company offering what I wanted at a reasonable price AND whose website said the item was in stock. I hadn't ordered from them before, in fact I'd never heard of them (sorry!). I did some basic checks, looked at the reviews, and decided to go ahead and order.

I placed my order over the weekend and received the email confirmation immediately, as you do with these things. Although I had created an account on checkout, the account was held on a different web address, which put me off logging in.

They phoned on Monday (or Tuesday, can't remember) to check it would be OK to deliver on Thursday. I was very happy to hear this - I'd half expected to be told it wasn't in stock any more.

The item arrived, and I'm very pleased with the service I received.

I'd definitely consider ordering from them again.

I ordered a Maytag french style fridge freezer. The ordering process was good and they kept it in store until I was ready to receive it. The delivery company gave me me a 3 hour window and called 10 minutes before arrival. That's when the problems started. I checked the measurements before ordering to make sure it would fit through the doors. The depth stated online was 68cm but when it arrived it was 76cm wide and would not fit through the front door. Also, it was bolted to a wooden pallet and the delivery company (DX) said they don't carry spanners to remove the bolts. Luckily, I had a garage so I told them to put it in there. I called customer services and they said the extra size must be "due to the handles on the doors"! They also said many large appliances come bolted to pallets and the delivery company should have been able to remove the pallet.
That was the end of the conversation - no help offered, nothing.

i had a washing machine delivered with a large scratch on the door,i was asked to send in photos and an offer of compensation would be offered,after sending in the photos and numerous unanswered emails i had to call them on the phone,i declined the offer and was told a fitter would come and replace the door,a couple of days later i was told the part is not in stock and it would take two weeks to arrive and they said they would put it in writing and send me an email,over a week later no letter no emails despite a couple sent from me,i am still waiting for a reply.not the service i expect when i spend £750

I was kept informed of my order progress at every step. My appliance was delivered in the time slot given, so no waiting around

I ordered LG glasses for gaming and asked twice - via email and on the phone - whether the order would deliver how many glasses I would receive. I only wanted enough for 2 players, there isnt really any use for 4 glasses after all.

I was told that I was only getting 2 pair of glasses but ended up getting 4, so I was charged double the amount necessary.

Given I asked twice and its a pain in busy lives to send items back, I do feel this was poor customer service.

Helpful staff who checked stock levels before I placed my order (two previous attempts to make a purchase with other stockists had to be cancelled because despite saying stock was in, it wasn't!). My item was then delivered 4 days later in perfect order. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Very helpful and prompt, with excellent communication throughout.the appliance has not been fitted yet so don't know what their after-sales service is like.

My experience with Eldon Electricals was very good. I phoned for the product and had a very friendly member of staff talk it through with me. I received the produced when I expected it and all in all a very efficient process for which I am grateful.

A shame not all companies deal in the same way.

we bought a washing machine from this website,the order was swift,very good communication for the delivery,which was on time,will use Eldon electricals again!

The chest freezer seems very good and just what we inspected. However, regarding the delivery; we were under the impression that the delivery would include the 'unpacking' of the freezer but when I queried this with one of the delivery men, he said it was 'delivery only'. I had to unpack the freezer my self and had to make a special journey to our local dump to depose of the packaging. Apologies if I misunderstood the delivery details but couldn't help thinking what we would of done if we were an elderly couple - would of had to call for help with the unpacking. Kind regards.

Eldonelectricals processed my order promptly, advised me of its progress and answered my queeries fully and courteously. Brilliant customer service and the best price for my TV by far.

The delivery contractor did not unpack the fridge freezer as requested. One phone call to Eldon and it was rectified the next day.

I don't blame them for a foul up of their agent - unless others were to report this was a regular event.

Service was excellent and delivery was as arranged. I haven't used my new AEG double oven yet as I am waiting for my new kitchen to be fitted.

Good price well informed delivery as and when arranged would use again.

Some of the megastores please take note, Eldon Electricals not only were cheaper but delivered in a fast time and had two delivery men to bring in my new TV. I bought a new 60' TV that had only just come out and I was kept up to date with my order and was very happy with the customer service I received.

I would definitely use them again!

Easy to use web site, helpful staff on the phone and even managed to accomodate me at the last minute when i needed to urgently change the booked delivery date. Would definately use again and would recommend.
