I called Eldridge Locksmiths to make a spare transponder key for my Mini Clubman F54 recently, excellent professional service received and the price was very reasonable.
Highly recommended if you live in Oxford shire.
Stopped at Cherwell Valley services for fuel and the vans immobiliser prevented me from starting the engine. I contacted various companies having googled auto locksmiths in the area: Some either didn't reply at all and another let me down by messaging the next day to say they couldn't make it after all. I messaged Eldridge and Domenic responded almost immediately - explained he was fully booked but could come the following day. The following day he messaged first thing to say he could make it earlier than planned. He diagnosed the issue and luckily even had a spare part that wasn't an exact match but would allow me to continue my journey. From his communication on whatsapp, turning up when he said he would, explanation of everything he was doing as he diagnosed the issue and being fairly priced was all 5-star. I generally never leave reviews but felt I had to in this case. 100% recommend him above all others.
Somehow managed to jam the steering lock alongside damaging the ignition barrel. However, Dom came out within the same day of me calling him. Turn’t up, tools out, straight in. Was a difficult fix but nothing this man isn’t ready for. Rearranged the whole job a week later to suit my financial circumstances, top communication, no games. Least to say probably one of the most genuine blokes I’ve met 🫡
