Staff at the exit counter handled my case professionally.

Bad customer service at Fields. Overwhelmed teenagers with no help from the managers in the store. Had to stand in the shop for almost 45 minutes to get help. The numbering system is messed up. Very unorganized store.

You buy something with click and collect that is supposed to be available in 1 hour. You see on your order that is ready for pick up so you go and in the store they tell you “oh no, we had only one in the store and we sold it”. WHAT’S THE POINT OF CLICK AND COLLECT THEN!?
Update 04/12: they say they are compensating the error by sending the product with free shipping. It was scheduled to arrive yesterday 03/12 and still no news; frozen at “Sent”. I knew this would happen so I tried to cancel the order on the 01/12 and they told me they couldn’t do that because it was already sent and that it will arrive on the 3/12. 3rd lie and terrible service in a row. No updates for my package and a birthday gift that won’t arrive in time because of the incompetence of your systems.

I mostly had positive experience with Elgiganten in the past, but now I'm extremely disappointed. I recently bought a headset (order #2119963150), which I had ordered online for in-store pickup. When I got home, I discovered the box seal was already broken, so the package had clearly been opened. The plastic bag was just stuffed in next to the headset, the cable was tangled, and there was even a hair on the headset's headband, so it’s obviously been used before.
I paid full price expecting a brand new product, yet received something that is obviously second-hand. I contacted their customer service immediately via email, but after FOUR business days, I have received no response whatsoever.

I bought a ScreenSmart Zagg Elite protection to my Pixel 8 (article 702812) last summer. I accepted to pay the extra cost with respect the other cheaper options they had, because they told me that I could change it for free if there were any issues with it within the first 2 years.
After 4 months it has moved to the side almost covering the front camera and outside the mobile edge and it is full of bobbles.
I tried to get it changed in the shop, and now they tell me that they do not change it for free, that I need to pay almost 100dkk extra. Really disappointing service.

Poor information on delivery. Ordered klik and collect and never got an SMS on notifying me. Ended up walking into the store location an hour before close on the estimated delivery date, and they simply had the order sitting on the table behind the register.
I’m glad I took the initiative because I very much wanted my item on the delivery date, but I think the communication from Elgiganten could be much much better

I bought a fridge from them and the delivery process is an absolute nightmare!
After waiting for 25 DAYS, today was supposed to be the big day (yay to me). Instead I received a text message saying the delivery attempt has failed. The driver claimed to have called me twice and rang the intercom but this is an outright lie. My phone never rang and my intercom was silent (which is really silly for them to lie about calling me as I have my phone with the logs).
This level of dishonesty and lack of professionalism is unacceptable. I took time off work to receive my package and now I have to deal with the hassle of rescheduling and further delays.
I strongly advise against buying any thing from them if you value your time and sanity.
Their delivery service is a disaster, and their drivers are untrustworthy. Moreover their customer service is useless.

I've consistently had poor experiences when visiting the store specially the one in fields mall. It's rare to find someone available to assist, and if you do, they are often too busy with other customers, leading to significant wait times. Considering this, online alternatives are much better if the prices are comparable

On the way to the airport in Denmark Thursday the 16th of May, I decided to buy a NEW mobile phone in Elgiganten Fields. After deciding on a model the consultant went to the warehouse to get it. When he came back he informed me that the box had been opened. But Elgiganten had closed it again and sealed it with their seal. He asked me if that was a problem. I said no.
After I arrived at my destination (my home in South Africa), I wanted to install the phone. Only to find out that the phone is used (you can see it is dirty), that the charger does not function and that the phone when switched on stalls all the time, shows a black screen with that "the Android system is not working - if I want to try again or restore to factory settings".
I have NEVER agreed to purchase a used phone. If I would have been asked, I would have said NO THANK YOU!
After discovering the above, I immediately, Friday 17th of May contacted Elgiganten´s call center in Denmark. They promised me that the shop would call back before the end of the day. Nothing happened and nobody called.
I therefore, wrote an email to Elgiganten´s email. It states that Elgiganten will come back within 24 hours. Again nothing happened.
Since Elgiganten is not answering and impossible to contact, I have no other choice than to publish this here.
I want my money back! And I need Elgiganten to be contactable. This way of doing business is simply fraudulent.
I am now in South Africa. My next planned trip to Denmark is in August. I do not know how Elgiganten will solve this matter...
You should be able to trust that when you buy a new phone that then it is NEW and functioning! Nobody stands around in the shop, opening the sealed box of a phone checking if everything is as it should be...
In case I again hear nothing and the above matter is not solved in a swift manner, I will take legal steps towards Elgiganten.
