Since I left the product for the second…

Since I left the product at the store for the second time, there has been no information update, the only information the store has is that the scooter is on its way to the workshop, this information has never been updated. Which took me to the store, and I was outraged when the employee couldn't tell me where the scooter was, I said I would come back in two days if they didn't have any information, I wanted my money back, which he agreed to. I returned to the store after 4 days, spoke to an employee who said I would have to wait another 5 business days. I didn't agree because they hadn't said that 4 days ago. I spoke to another employee who said that I should wait 21 business days, that's when I got confused, I researched and saw that the store's website says that it usually takes 10 to 15 business days to resolve the problem, but the employee claimed that because there is the word generally so it could be longer, so I questioned, so it could be up to two years since it is written generally????. Then I asked where the employee got this information that he had to wait 21 days, did the other employee say shorter days??, he literally couldn't say, and then he started saying that it was internal policy, I asked to see this policy he said I didn't know where it was, and I couldn't find it!!! STRANGE...
Well, if the store's internal policy involves the consumer, then it must be accessible to the customer so that there are no doubts. And to complete this film, when I said that we should follow what is on the store's website, neither the employee nor the store manager knew the information that is on the store's website. Which leads me to believe that people are saying what they want. Each one gives different information, I made a complaint to their after-sales department, the response I got was: that they could not show the consumer legislation and that I should try to reach an agreement with the store, which at the moment I was unable to do. , as no one knows where the scooter is and everyone is contradicting each other about the waiting time for repairs.

I'm not giving zero stars because it's not possible. I want my product or my purchase price back, I don't mind waiting the 15 days that the website says, or 21 working days if they show me where they get the information. I've been waiting for 10 business days without any update on my product...

It is correct that we expect a processing time of up to 14 business days; however, the duration of cases can vary depending on the complexity of the repair. The 21 business days mentioned is indeed an unofficial internal guideline, which serves as the upper limit we “allow” for a service case, and alternative solutions may be considered. If a case is particularly complicated or requires the ordering of spare parts, it may occasionally take longer than 14 business days. This maximum processing time is for internal reference only.

When a case is relatively new, we may not have a specific update until the product arrives at the workshop and is under repair. I can see that your item has been sent to an external workshop, so any information must be requested directly from them, as the external workshop does not communicate directly with our system. Therefore, the information we can provide may be limited, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

To receive an update on your case, you do not necessarily need to visit a store in person. You can simply contact us at 70807070 or at hello@elgiganten.dk, and we will be happy to assist you in investigating your case further.

I can confirm that your product has been received at the workshop and is currently being processed.

Hi everyone
It’s so frustrating that I had to go through again and again since few days regarding my complaints.
The proper action is still not be taken into consideration and the blunt answer I received was felt not sincere.

While reading other reviews here and there it’s feels so painful that this type of racist behaviour is also still going through.
In top of everything The product I bought on discount offer has a bad speaker as well.

I am a Non EU student(there’s no additional support) I spent from what I earn pay the taxes and everything and it’s terrifying to say you don’t get what you are paying for and you pay more then what’s there.

Not only me but the person who was with me has been living here for more then 30 years, even he felt that it was harsh and racial and even he felt very embarrassed and apologised on behalf of the elgiganten store cause he was with me that day and he saw how I was feeling. I would never wish this kind of incident on any one.
Then I also wrote other facebook group and got to know that it’s not only me.
I made a purchase of 5000/- kroner on top pf that got parking ticket of 875/- due to the wait I had to endure though out the whole process of buying one projector more then 2 hours I was in store then parking instructor was kind enough to hear through store but nobody came out to help me.
I wished for much better service from a significant chain store.

Bad service

I ordered washing machine for pick up on saturday- it was already scratched (we were told we can't get new one as that was the only one in the warehouse)- we got 300kr discount- fine. Drived with it home- was not working properly, water was keep being taken in (nonstop). My boyfriend drove the same day to talk to customer service, which they told him to bring it back to the store and we can get refund (no option of getting new one as there was no more in the warehouse, neither option of choosing one in the same price/energy level)- still fine. Next day we drive with the machine to the elgiganten, we are being told that they cannot take machine as we cut into cable (which had to be cut to connect it to power- how would we know it was not working), we are being told to get technician and there is nothing that can be done.

Whole situation was ridiculous, and not handled properly, employees were extremely unhelpful- just shrugging their shoulders- sending us back and fourth between warehouse, sales and customer service, making us rent a car and trailer which we were driving with no sense between elgiganten and our house.
