Beware Elgiganten marketplace have partner that doing price scam or fraud called Play SE (PLAY NÖJESDISTRIBUTION AB). They put lower price than average market and then when you order they will charge you twice that price to your card and also removed that product page from the marketplace to remove the evidence after your order was made. When I asked to cancel the order they said they can't cancel it which is mark all the sign of scam or fraud attempt from this marketplace partner. Elgiganten also don't do anything about this despite I already reported this to them. Never purchase anything again from Elgiganten.

Big Christmas SCAM:
I bought and pay the Oculus Quest 2 with plenty of time for CHRISTMAS (Present for the kids) and at regular/ normal price despite it was black Friday!!!
Problem is: every week they say
"Tyvärr" it will MAYBE arrive NEXT WEEK, Now they say, Not This year!!!!! Not until MAYBE JANUARY 2021... Maybe.
Now I can not buy it in other place due to today's date to be on time for Christmas.

They took the money immediately but won't deliver.
It is a Scam!!! And They do not care at all. This is just the "Tyvärr" Store!

I recently ordered a Braun face spa from Elgigatan online and I'm very much satisfied with the purchase. My order was delivered before time and was packaged well...

I did have a good experience. I had not seen the other reviews before I ordered, and was a bit concerned, but everything arrived on time, even earlier than expected.

I also contacted the customer service to ask whether my item is in stock, being in the phone queue took maybe 2 minutes, same for the chat. Customer service agent was friendly.

Second order and they always late and thier custom service is also bad I will recommend to buy from other store if possible like Media markt ....

I bought Supra Nero headphones and they stopped working after like 2 months. So I sent them back and Elgiganten confirmed that they received it back but now they refuse to send my money back EVEN though they got their piece of s*** headphones back.
They're basically holding my money hostage for over a week.
Called customer support 3-4 times and all the times they said different things and different lies... Worst customer support ever. If you can even call that "support".

I'm going to wait a couple of more days now, see if they change their mind, and after that I will press charges for theft and fraud.

Please ladies and gentlemen,

I purchased a new smartwatch as well as an extra silicone watch band. However the silicone band never arrived. I have tried call multiple times with no one answering the phone. Then went to a shop directly only to be met with a person who says they cannot assist in the shop. The shop assistant even suggested that I put on a movie while waiting for someone to answer my call, perhaps someone will answer before it ends. I know that this was said to ease the situation, but this further shows the extremely disappointing (Non-existent) customer service.
RECOMMENDATION – Use Elgiganten only as a LAST RESORT if you cannot get what you need somewhere else.

If you buy something from elgiganten do not expect garanty or any kind of service. Very disappointing.

I went to purchase something they wouldn't accept cards where you have to use signatures. I was going to spend maybe 10 thousand kr at the time but they wouldnt accept my card. The service lady called the manager (they were no help at all) they lost a customer and I am never going there again. There store is overrated. Don't buy stuff there.

Spent over 100 000kr here. Bought all my electronics from this place, for atleast the past 10 years. Now, I left in a DJI Mavic battery for repair; as it suddenly stopped working. The guy at the counter assured me it wouldn't cost anything to have it looked at. 4 weeks later, I get a fee of 752kr with the reason being "it's outside the 1 year warranty". This isn't 752kr to get it replaced; this is 752kr for them to return my drone to me. Unrepaired.

Shame on you elgiganten!

The returns service woman was irritated, rude and in defensive manner, couldnt convey her reply in a polite and pleasant way. Never had such a bad customer service.

Bought a TV from Elgigaten for 4700sek in Aug 2019. During payment, the staff member suggested and explained about Ecster credit service. It seemed so hassle free and straight forward. 10 months installment, 0% interest, nothing to pay extra. I repent falling into this trap, though it was not needed for me to go for a credit service. I continued paying the EMI only to realize I had to 11th and also 12th month EMI. I called Ecster customer care asking this was not the agreement it was suppose to be just 10 months EMI and my credit should be over by now, and I have paid extra. It was ruled out and said with additional charges it was 12 months EMI. I ended up paying 1000sek more unnecessarily. I felt so furious on that Elgigten staff who gave wrong and also I complete information just to prompt Ecster. Now I am not sure if Egigaten staff themselves are aware of how Ecster works and what their hidden charges are. But shouldn’t they be knowing 100% all details before promoting it to customers. I never knew about Ecster before the Elgigaten staff explained it to me. It’s very wrong on Elgigaten to give false or incomplete information to the customers. I hope they read my comment and brief their staff on Ecster to learn more and guide customers properly. It’s their duty.

No customer service! Express delivery delayed 2 weeks!! No email, no chat, no one takes the phone. Rubbish service!!!

For the second time Elgiganten confirms ordering a sale item for pick-up within an hour, but never confirm. When visiting the shop for pick-up, there is no product on sale, only regular price. Misleading!

Great store that really values their customers. I recently bought a new computer from them and they gave me exceptional customer service.

Bought a mid-level cellphone with them; unfortunately, the phone came with pre-installed spyware I did not agree with. So badly configured, that there was an unofficial firmware installation (full hacker access), or at least it was attempts since the OEM had to order a new part when the phone was brought in. Essentially the bootloader was unlocked over the air (cellular not wi-fi) without user interface input the first month of use.

Bought a laptop with them, but the piece of equipment came so badly configured, that a non-OEM firmware was side-loaded the second time the laptop was used.

Seriously, they either are a backdoor for any kind of purposes (advertisiment, espionage, etc., I don't know), or their supply chains are completely rotten. And to think that they are the largest IT supplier in Sweden should scare the hell out of proud Swedes ('no corruption here') as to how compromised their system is; we own nothing to no-one, and have never had issues like these; low-level compromises, break the security of the whole network by opening up holes for threat actors, not just ours). The whole IT ecosystem is in general very corrupt based on our social, data based, social experience.

Otherwise, adversaries faced by Sweden are highly sophisticated ones and embedded from arrival.

Probably avoid and wait until Amazon arrives.

Conspiracy tin foil for most consumers who know nothing and don't care about privacy, but, think critically, and realize that if 1.6 stars is what the largest IT vendor is worth is in a highly developed nation, then imagine what a third world country's IT ecosystem is like. Yikes, and we won't be intimidated by thugs or adversaries.

I am so sick of Elgiganten! I was forced to buy a specific machine for my beard since they were the only one who had it.. I used it for some months - once a week and after 13 months it stopped working. The warranty from Philips is 24 months.. Elgiganten first declined to send it for service after some discussion they took it and I have not heard anything from them in 11 days now. They promised to call after 24 hours to give an update.. Nothing new yet!

The store in haggivik has bad workers only one girl was super helpful and nice. The other ones work with laziness and dont want help much .
Never going back there .I had to wait for service long .

Buyed a complete kitchen, go a good price, also my number one place for branded electronics.

Bought a vacumcleaner from the store and when I got home I found that the charger and other stuff to cleaner were missed. How can you sell something without even choking if all is in the box?!?!
