Just a relaxed getaway without kids. The people working there were absolutely awesome. Perfect service all the time. The spa-area (mostly outside) was wonderful. Perfect service. Clean and professional. Hottest day of the year so room was a little warm at night but with open window no problem.
Visited the golf course on Sunday 13th of May. A golf course in nice surroundings with fine but old buildings. Greenfee was set high - at around 50-60% higher than normal golfcourses we played in Sweden during the days, so expections were set for the day. Seen to the price of the green fee the golf course didn't meet expectations. This based on:
- Poor marking of each hole (there where no description/marking at any hole around hazards etc. Only the length was given
- Poor marking to next tees
- Miserable/old/broken equipment in bunkers
- Accesses to greens via bridges etc. - here bridges was broken and temporary (a long time ago) fixed by pallets. On other bridges the wood was rotten
- Scorecards was manual printouts to be done by hand
- Changing rooms looked nice, but showers was not functioning
Seen to the price and the maintainance of the golf course, this was not a positive experience of the visit to this golf course.
