Very poor experience

Very poor experience. I am not one to leave poor reviews but this was an exceptionally bad experience. I paid for $40 worth of product. They charged me $60 to ship it to Canada. Then they said there was an error and the wrong label was created so it cancelled and they had to reinitiate it. Then I got an email from ups that I have to pay $45 in additional taxes! $40 became $150. I emailed them asking for a resolution and they were short and dismissive. And said I’d need to pay the extra money totally $150 for this order of $40 bands or they’d charge me a $25 restocking fee + the return shipping cost! It was a very disheartening experience with financial surprises, and most of all really poor, short customer service

Poor QC, poor CS!

Purchased a full set of 41" resistance bands and a few more. Several of them were short of the 41"spec. One of the bands, the largest of the set, was received with surfaces fused to each other and full of chalk that won't wash off. It looks like it was a band that had been sitting in storage for years before being sent to me. Just poor quality and spec control. As others have mentioned, they censor honest reviews on their website. That's a shady practice. I couldn't post my review.
Then... Admittedly my mistake, I placed an order short a few bucks from qualifying for free shipping. I immediately contacted them to ask if they would be kind enough to add an item to the order or cancel my order so I can replace it. Short answer... They are not kind enough! Seemed to me like a simple enough gesture for a new customer. For me to be a repeat customer with a company they need to care a little more about customer satisfaction. Elitefts couldn't care less. I'm done with them

Fraud

I wrote a much deserved critical review of their American Press Bar and they simply never posted it. There are 13 other reviews posted, but apparently they only post reviews if they're favorable. This is a grossly misleading and fraudulent practice. The T in FTS stands for Trust--what a joke.

Haven't got the item yet so we'll see…

UPDATE AT BOTTOM

Haven't got the item yet so we'll see if it moves my opinion.

I ordered a week ago, 22/12/23, in the morning. They may have had the opportunity to post the item before close of business but giving them the benefit of the doubt, i presumed they'd have xmas and boxing day off and post Wednesday.

There was no mention, at least none where i could see, that no orders world be going out for a week.

So today i emailed as i thought it would have gone out Wednesday and, given i paid £4.50 postage for 2 mini bands (so not particularly heavy) that it would be sent first class, especially with the delay.

The reply simply states that they'd had the week off and had only posted TODAY. Great. Also noted they don't make money on postage as I'd brought that up. Maybe need to discuss that with royal mail then why a light weight parcel that isn't particularly big costs £4.50 to send second class.

Firstly if you're not going to be sending out items such as at Christmas, have it noted when purchasing so the buyer can decide if they still want to purchase.
Second, a bit of a coincidence that you send it the exact day i email so if i hadn't emailed i believe you'd not have even sent it today.
Third, £4.50 is expensive for two 12 inch rubber bands. They're not heavy and not large. As such the postage for that cost should be first class especially after a week's delay and/or re-evaluate your agreement with royal mail as that isn't right.

UPDATE.

So the item finally arrived today. 11 days since ordering and was coincidentally sent the day i emailed checking where it was. Again i realise they had time off at xmas but no mention visible when ordering it, i would have ordered elsewhere or chose to accept that I'd read of a delay, it would then have been my choice.
Sent 2nd class and i paid £4.50 for it to take 11 days. It weighs 123g and royal mail states that should be £2.99 for the actual postage which means they've charged an extra £1.50 for a plastic bag pretty much as there's not much else to the packing, no bubble wrap etc. They stated they don't make anything on the postage yet i am sure they don't pay the same price as an individual would due to bulk items being sent so it shouldn't even have been £2.99 never mind £4.50.

I've lowered from 3 stars to 2.
