In March 2025 I had Elizabethan Patio…

In March 2025 I had Elizabethan Patio doors and Windows come and give me a quote for a new conservatory.
The price seemed ok and coverered all that i required. The salesman kevin seemed to know his stuff in the advice that was offered.
Prior to confirming the supply and fit of the new build i was informed it might be july because bad weather can delay orders and buulding work.
However we had a heatwave of a summer and could have built a housing estate.
In july i contacted them and asked them when they were likely to start as i hadnt heard anything. I then spoke to mark and was pleased to say that they eventually started it on 7th July.25 with footings and ground work being done. One drain moved which later became a problem as it wasnt set at the right height when the concrete and foundations were completed.
I kept asking re the drain and the builders kept saying it would be finished at the end.
Elizabethan ask for payment after each completed work...(Big mistake on my part agreeing to it)
The base and footings done.
Payment made.
Dwarf wall built a month later. Payment done.
Another month later october they started the main structure build..
A kit they had bought from liverpool
They assembled this and asked for payment as it was mainly assembled.
All thru this my liaision was salesman kevin..always smiling. Nothing too much trouble until it was geeing work up as it was promised by end of august but we were well into october.
After putting up the main structure and asking for payment etc it was later noticed the guttering and downspout wasnt in the correct place and stuck on the front of a conservatory and not at the back corner as initially agreed
The drain that id asked about months before was sunken
and not at original level.
Eventually after many phonecalls the electrician and plasterer had done the internal work which was efficient and pleased with their work.
When i started asking questions re the main workmanship and problems with the build. The ever helpful Keven was nowhere to be seen. Always personal issues kept away.
( However kevin was always quick on the phone demanding payment, pleading they were a small company and needed to pay things)
So it was left to mark who did at least listen to the issues raised and tried to give assurances.
I was always told by different workers the downspout would be fixed with a new corner piece( but wrong one kept getting sent)
which was suppose to have an angled outlet to the downspout so it could be fitted to the drain which still hadnt been finished.
This was now getting to december.
One day the workers turned up saying they had the right part.
They finished fitting it then suddenly left ..
When i went out after noticing they had gone i saw the outlet from the replacement guttering came straight down connecting with the downspout preventing the window from opening.
I queried this and was told it was the correct one ...and pointed out the fact it was not as described.
When workmen later returned all i can say is that he was rude in attitide saying well thats how it is and nothing they could do.
I said i dont think companies make downspouts to be fitted to conservatories preventing windows from being opened.
He said well thats how it is. A right bodged job.
Re the drain.
This is now under the flags as it was never raised to its initial level it started at.
Again a bodged job.
There has been other issues with the build ...including panel in the roof and when its high winds you can hear the wind whistling throught the top of the canopy so is not sealed.
Its late january now and we are still awaiting the issues being rectified.
The biggest advice i can give...dont pay until full job is done till full satisfaction.

UPDATE:-
April 2026.
Still waiting....
Ironic as i want a upvc door putting into the garage.
I wont be contacting Elizabethan doors and Windows

Elizabeth patio doors provide me some…

Elizabeth patio doors provide me some information before I became a customer that helped me resolve a problem.
this was customer care before I bought and had fitted a new back and front door. The firm adjusted my old front door so I could access my home, without fear of being locked out.
The people who fitted both doors were pleasant and polite. Everything was removed form the property that was waste.
The staff in the office showed and workmen reflect the values of a local firm and these are the values seen in Elizabethan Patio Doors

Couldn’t Be Happier – Fantastic Service from Start to Finish

We’ve just had our new front door supplied and fitted by Elizabethan and honestly couldn’t be happier. From start to finish, they made the whole process so straightforward. We changed our minds a few times on the design (more than we’d like to admit!) but they were patient and helpful throughout, making sure we ended up with exactly what we wanted.

On the day of fitting everything was smooth and hassle-free. No fuss, no issues — efficient and everything left spotless. The guys installing were courteous and friendly, super professional. The finish is perfect and the quality of both the door and the installation is unreal.

We’re so happy with it. We can’t recommend Elizabethan enough. Thank you!

Review for 8 windows

Review for 8 windows.
We had multiple quotes from people for windows for our renovation project, after going to view the products at the show room we decided these were the best quality we’d seen. These were then installed a few weeks later and definitely did not disappoint! We are now going to go forward with our patio doors, back door and another two windows. Can’t thank them enough for making the whole process so easy compared to the stress of our renovation and trying to rely on other unreliable tradesmen… we can’t thank you enough for the service we have received.

Honest review

Honest review
I contacted Elizabethan for a quote as I obtained 3 quotes. Mark came and listened to what we wanted gave some advice and we found his so normal and non pushy. The other 2 local companies were almost double the price and pushy salesmen saying quotes like ' if you sign with me today I can give you this special deal' I hate that! Elizabethan simply said I will get your quote over to you and leave it with you.
The lads that came were absolute stars! They were polite and clean they covered our new carpets put boards down on our muddy grass areas. When we returned home from work we were blown away!!! Not one paint touch up needed. The absolute professionalism of this company. Quality fantastic service and value for money. Look nowhere else .Thank you Mark and team

Amazing service from start to finish!
I am clueless with windows, so Mark came over to our house day one, helped me measure and choose a design that I am OBSESSED WITH! called me the same day with a quote which we were so pleased with! (I was even aloud a new front door the price was that reasonable!)
Mark was so patient and always available on WhatsApp everytime I had a question. The lads came to fit the windows just a few weeks later, they were so fast and everyone was so lovely! No faults whatsoever. We are so happy with them! Thanks so much everyone :)

We have used Elizabethan for 3 separate jobs and have to say we have nothing but praise for this company. Aside from giving work to a local family run business, we have been very happy with the level of service from sales through to fitting. Excellent quality and value for money. Highly recommend 👍🏼

Fabulous Makeover! (Black Aluminium)

After finally deciding to go ahead and replace some UPVC french doors and windows, we opted for Elizabethan to complete the work and have been delighted with the results. We were keen to use a local, small business and they certainly stood out from other companies that we approached. All staff were professional throughout and committed to delivering a high-end makeover at a competitive price. The work wasn’t straightforward, yet the workmen ensured it was completed efficiently and took great care in ensuring no redecoration was required and any disruption was minimal.

Elizabethan have certainly delivered on this makeover, making a wish list of improvements a feasible, affordable option – thank you!

Turned up eventually - Disappointed

Update on Elizabethan Windows 22.04.2025

Yesterday two guys from Elizabethan Windows turned up, unannounced. I was in the bath and my husband had just come in from the supermarket so we were caught a bit unprepared.

I quickly got dressed. The guy took his shoes off, very good. I said are you just going to turn the French door pane of glass over so the black mark is at the bottom and not as noticeable, he said yes. He said if you can't see a mark in glass from 2 metres away then it's
considered to be fine. If that is a rule it is a odd one, who stands 2 metres away from their windows? The guy shouted he had finished and left. I have just looked at the door glass and there is a 3 inch scratch on the glass at the top right of the door they turned upside down. Disappointing but it seems to be the way of the world nowadays.

Have used Elizabethan for all of
our windows. Had new front
windows two years ago, all good
except there is a black rubber
mark between the glass on one
window. They said they could
redo glass but we didn't want the
hassle so decided to keep the
blind 6 inches down so we can't
see it. We decided to use Elizabethan again and ordered new glass for the
rear of the bungalow to replace the georgan bar and so all the windows match. The guys came to fit the new glass and after a quick job they said they had finished, they even gave the glass a clean. I asked is everything OK, no black bits in the glass this time.? They said no. I am mad because I didn't check
and I always do.They left and we
started cleaning the windows. I
noticed in-between the glass on the French doors there are two black rubber marks between the glass just like the front window two years ago. There is no way the guy who fitted the glass wouldn't have seen the mark and he also cleaned them! He obviously chose not to tell me.
I rang Mark and he said the guys would
come back the following day and swap the glass, turning it over would mean the mark would be at the bottom right corner and not so noticeable. Ideally I would like both door glasses swapping so the black mark is at the bottom right on the right hand door. That was the 7th April and I am still waiting, no one has rang or turned up. I am not happy. I wish I hadn't paid straight away. We did want a whole new window making and fitting but I won't use them and will use someone else.

ripped me off for £6,500 for a conservatory that they left half finished and had to be torn down and replaced by another company. Asked for a simple flat roof conservatory but they ripped open the roof on my house making more damage. left with doors haning off, flooded garden and a gutter that was cut off and removed. Have lost over £4,000 trying to get compensation with no luck. I am 75 years old and this has take a massive toll on my health and bank account. Apart from the near £11,000 lost i have had to pay £7.000 to a proper company to do the job the way i wanted it in the first p[ace
