My order wasn't delivered after several…

My order wasn't delivered after several months and when I asked for a refund I was lied to over and over until they stopped answering calls or replying to emails regarding refund. Disgusting criminal behaviour. Over £250 and no item delivered or refund given. Just what I needed at Christmas

Questionable business practices

I ordered a desk from Ellanoir on 11th February. The lead time was stated as 3 to 5 weeks. Although there were initial confirmation emails everything that followed was marketing.

When 5 weeks had passed, I contacted the company via live chat. After a couple of attempts I was informed that my order status was being checked and I would get an update the next day. This did not happen.

Following continued lack of response via live chat I tried sending an email to the address given on the site. This bounced back.

As I was unable to contact the company, I contacted Klarna on the 23rd March. Klarna were able to provide another email address to contact Ellanoir. I duly sent an email requesting a refund if the order could not be fulfilled. The Klarna representative asked if I would like them to also follow up with Ellanoir. I let them know that I had sent an email but their assistance in getting resolution would be appreciated.

By that afternoon I had a response from Ellanoir. However, this email did not offer resolution to fulfillment of my order. Instead, it accused me of attempting to sabotage their business and fraud. My order was cancelled and my refund processed which I believe Ellanoir would have refused based on previous reviews if not for Klarna being involved.

I still gave the company the benefit of the doubt and offered to allow them to fulfill my order and prove that they were a reputable business.

I have had no response since I sent that email on the 27th March.

I do not believe this company has acted in good faith in any of my dealings with them which is a pity because I would like to support smaller businesses trying to make a name for themselves. It seems that Ellanoir are trying to make a name for themselves but not in a positive way. Following the initial ordering process the entire experience deteriorated every step of the way. I don't understand what the business model is here but I cannot recommend them in any way whatsoever.

***Update - 06th April***

The very same day I posted this review on Trustpilot and their own site I was contacted with an offer to reinstate my order. I accepted this offer and have asked them to progress but have so far had no further contact. My review on the Ellanoir site appears to have been removed. However, I will provide updates here. For the moment, this review remains 1 star.

***Update - 15th April***

Despite the initial offer to reinstate my order there has been no evidence that this has been actioned. Emails remain unanswered and I have looked elsewhere to order from.

I did receive a full refund from Klarna and would recommend if you are going to place an order with this company that you use a payment method where you have protection. There are many reviews here that state the company will try to charge 5% of your order if you cancel. I do not believe they can do this if an order is not fulfilled.

My experience of Ellanoir has been negative throughout and I would not recommend using them. I feel the 1 star rating is too generous as the company has failed in every way to provide any form of product or service.

***Update - 25th April***
James from the Ellanoir team reached out today offering to reinstate the order. I have accepted this and have been assured that my order will be delivered within the 5 weeks lead time stated for the desk. I have paid via Klarna for my protection and hope that this is an actual indication that Ellanoir is now taking customer service seriously. I will update this review at least weekly until either the order has reached some form of completion.

***Update - 26th April***

True to their word I now have an order and confirmation of a delivery window from Ellanoir. This is at the end of May but that is within the suggested lead time.

***Update - 08th May***

There has been no further updates since payment was made. Hopefully as we approach mid to late May there will be activity to indicate shipping of my order.

***Update - 18th May***

Still no contact from Ellanoir regarding preparation of my order. I guess there is still time but the next week will be indicative of whether the company actually delivers on their promised delivery date.

***Final update***

I was let down again but refunded. Not sure what the problem was but there were lots of promises which were ultimately not kept.

Every now and then I get a reply from my e-mail saying a new one has been sent. I really thought I might get one.
No one ever answers the phone, and now it’s disconnected.
Now it’s too late to complain to the bank!!!!!!

THIS COMPANY HAS STOLE £553 FROM ME

THIS COMPANY HAS STOLE £553 FROM ME. AS ADVISED BY TRADING STANDARDS A WRITTEN LETTER TO THEM FOR MY MONEY BACK IS UNDERWAY. I WILL BE TAKING THIS ALL THE WAY.
PLACED MY ORDER VIA BANK TRANSFER ON 24th JAN
Should have known better when my instincts told me it didn’t feel right.
After that no delivery date given, then for weeks no reply in the live chat...
Gift gaff voice mail every time I tried to call. I said to them eventually in the chat through sheer frustration that I wanted my money back if they couldn’t communicate with an update to my order. Then finally they responded by email saying I had cancelled my order, which I NEVER, I just simply wanted to talk to someone. They took me off their chat because my text was against their standards..I’ve never felt so insulted. 😡Then they sent me a credit note saying I could use it for future purchases and I had lost my right to a cash refund because I had cancelled after 14 days.
YOU WILL NOT GET AWAY WITH THIS ELLANOIR LUXURY
YOU ARE STEALING FROM EVERYONE GOING BY THE OTHER REVIEWS
STAY AWAY PEOPLE!

I did not cancel my order. If your refer back to the chat, I repeatedly asked for days from your team for an update on my order and was ignored multiple times. I said if I cannot speak with someone today then I will be be asking for my money back. The decision to cancel my order was taken by another.
I was very impressed at first with the
communication and your website in the beginning, in fact I wanted to order much more, and felt excited in the arrival of my order, but having tried to phone almost every day and put through to GIFF GAFF voicemail, no success in talking with anyone at all, no delivery date for my order, it has led to this unfortunate dispute today.
I will take this to my bank, and open the dispute case with them, I will take this all the way, I will do everything I can to get my hard earned cash back.

TRIED TO ORDER TWO WALKING CANES FROM THIS COMPANY. DID TRY ORDERING TWICE BUT PAYMENT (ORDER NUMBER 2955 & 2956) WASN'T TAKEN. INSTEAD I RECEIVED AN EMAIL (TWICE) ASKING ME TO PAY THE MONEY TO AN ACCOUNT AND DETAILS WERE GIVEN.
I DECIDED THIS MADE ME UNCOMFORTABLE AND DIS NOT PURSUE MAKING THE PURCHASE.
I WAS THEN PHONED THE NEXT DAY BY SOMEONE WHO WAS MUFFLED AND CALLING FROM A PRIVATE NUMBER.
AS I COULDN'T HEAR PROPERLY I PUT THE PHONE DOWN.
I THEN RECEIVED EMAIL SAYING ORDER CANCELLED. I REPLIED TO RAISE MY CONCERNS AND SAY I FOUND THE PAYMENT METHOD SUSPICIOUS AND THAT I HAD READ REVIEWS WHICH WERE VERY POOR AND I WOULDN'T BE MAKING A PURCHASE.
I RECEIVED ANOTHER RUDE EMAIL SAYING I WOULD BE REPORTED AS MAKING A FRAUDULENT PURCHASE TO MAKE IT MORE DIFFICULT FOR ME TO BUY GOODS IN FUTURE. STAY AWAY PEEPS, NOT A GOOD COMPANY

Ordered a product in stock and delivery…

Ordered a product in stock and delivery next day. 1 month later still waiting. Live chat doesn't work, no response from multiple emails and phone just rings and rings. Do not use!
* Update* I have received a few emails now stating firstly that I would receive my order on 27/2 - this did not happen, then when I chased again they said it would not be delivered until 31/3! No real reason as to why. Still advertising in stock and next day delivery though. I said I didn't want to wait any longer and so asked to cancel the order - they said I could but would charge me 5% which they would take off the refund!!! I don't think so. Do not use!

Avoid this company

Avoid this company. I placed an order on the 31st December, order has never arrived, phone goes through to a Giff Gaff mobile voicemail, left a message no one called me back. Have sent emails to various contact addresses, no reply. I have wrote off receiving my order/getting a refund - don't waste your time/money ordering from them

AVOID! Shocking service...

Still waiting for a Stove that should have been next day delivery. No answer on emails or messenger. Spoke to the same lady 6 times and fobbed off eveytime with reasons like its being processed by our night team or its I the warehouse. Now when you call she just outs the phone down and then doesn't pick up. Just really shocking service. Will be speaking to Klarna for a refund. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Great customer service

Whilst there was some confusion over payment this was swiftly reviewed and rectified by the customer service team. I have spoken with two advisors, both professional, courteous and helpful. I cannot praise the team more highly as attitude is everything in my opinion. Mistakes can happen, but how it’s rectified is important. Thank you.

The company is a SCAM

The company is a SCAM. Nearly 2 months since I ordered. Email them every week, call them every week and just get mugged right off. I don’t think anything will ever arrive.
I have started a dispute with my bank.
Never reply to the email and the phone number transfers you to someone on a giff gaff phone that says you will get an update that day and nothing ever happens.
But still get stupid emails wanting me to buy more.

I ordered an item on 7.12.22 and have had no communication on the status of my order. I have tried different ways of getting support with this and I get the same reply “ unable to deliver this message “ I have no way of resolving my problem and I am very unhappy!
