I tried to purchase a product during Black Friday. Unfortunately due to an error on their website, the advertised price against the product would not load at check out. EB wouldn’t honour the price they advertised, despite my providing a screenshot. Disappointing.

I booked an appointment for a new ski boot fitting at the Ellis Brigham shop in Xscape Castleford & had to cancel at the last minute due to ordering some online. When these arrived & fitted well 'out of the box' I phoned to explain & re-booked to have these fine-tuned & footbeds fitted.

When I arrived they couldn't have been more friendly & helpful. Ollie gave my new boots (purchased elsewhere) a comprehensive going over prior to conducting a thorough analysis of my feet followed by precise professional footbed moulding, shell grinding & heat moulding of the liners - all at a very reasonable price. Best fitting ski-boots in over 30 years of ski-ing! Highly recommended.

I booked into the Aviemore Branch for a ski boot fitting. Absolutely fantastic experience, I have odd shaped feet so finding a good fit has been a problem for years, Sam couldn't do enough for me and spend several hours with me, measuring, observing my range of movements and trying different boots in different sizes. He found me boots which fit really well, I'm totally delighted - I'd started to think I was just going to have to accept pain and discomfort when skiing.

I can't think for another product you buy as a consumer where the sales staff have this level of technical, medical and product expertise. You can go and spend tens of thousands of pounds on a new car and the sales person's product knowledge isn't on the same hemisphere as these guys.

Extremely good experience at the St Pauls store (after an unsuccessful appointment at Covent Garden the day before with a seemingly disinterested sales assistant).
The assistant at St Paul’s was friendly & very knowledgeable, and he took time to ensure I found the right pair of ski boots. I would certainly go back to the St Paul’s branch again.

I went into the Breahead/xsite store with a task of - I saw this jacket in June - didn’t buy it wish I had can you help me find it it’s maroon/ brown/ purplish - and my goodness the staff jumped on it! One young girl who I didn’t get the name of was fantastic- even when she hit every hurdle she asked around for help and found me the jacket then got it delivered to my house! Honestly the best staff and a great team to watch work together, especially with what I thought was an impossible task! I’ve always had great experiences here but this was the best yet!! Thank you .. especially to the girl who found it for me!

I went to the Ellis Brigham Store in Manchester City Centre to buy some new walking shoes. I was greeted with a warm smile by Store Assistant Amber. She was exceedingly helpful, knowledgeable and patient. I left initially, being unable to make up my mind between two different pairs, the brand and type I already owned and another brand she suggested. Went back an hour later to make a purchase. No problems at all and I now have information about another brand which may help my particular foot problems in the future. Excellent service.

Had a great experience. No rush to choose expensive B2 boots and gloves needed for winter mountaineering. Great advice offered for suitability, not just what I was buying but also my current gear. Would recommend.

Without doubt, the best footwear buying experience of my lifetime. An extremely well-informed young man called Andrea talked me through the options and helped me make a wonderful choice. By using a sophisticated length and pressure sensor, he also determiner that I would benefit from a supportive insole. I’m now happy, confident and ready to take on the Alps..

I would very much recommend this company from my recent experience at the Braehead Store in Glasgow.
I had been in touch by email with regard to a new pair of walking shoes that were faulty. The outcome was a very straightforward exchange for a similar type of walking shoe, thanks to the member of staff responsible for customer service and the store manager.
I also received excellent advice regarding the style and type of walking boot that would suit me. I highly recommend this store as a consequence of my experience.

I would definitely recommend getting ski boots from the store in Tamworth. Sadie took so much time to make sure that I got the right boot and the correct fit for me. The focus was all around ensuring she got the best boot fit, and I never felt pressured into buying or rushing the decision.
I have very complicated feet and needed lots of changes to the boot, meaning I was there for over three hours but Sadie was very patient, tackled each pressure point to leave me with boots that truly fit.

Booked 2 hour ski boot fitting appointment in Manchester. Tom was knowledgeable, friendly & extremely patient. Didn't feel under any pressure to buy, he was adamant I'd only leave the shop if I found the RIGHT boots (& with my feet, I did wonder if that was possible!). He took his time, asked lots of good questions about the boots we tried & listened carefully to my answers, which really helped to narrow it down. A very pleasant experience actually - & I'm assured that Ellis Brigham after-sales service will be there if needed.

I visited the Tamworth shop yesterday for a ski boot fitting and had a really good experience. Hannah was really patient and was also very knowledgable, taking the time to explain everything clearly to me (a relative novice buying my first pair of boots). I’ve tried out my new boots today and they definitely feel a lot more comfortable than the rental boots, and it’s great to know that I can go back and get any adjustments made if needed. Would definitely recommend!
